You want to find a Unitarian Universalist community.

“I want to go somewhere that has all of the wonderful things about church - community, ritual, structure, group singing - but without the hurt and bigotry that can be found in Christianity.”

You want to go to a Unitarian Universalist congregation.

“I think religion is fascinating but I don’t want to convert, or commit to any one doctrine.”

“I think there’s something valuable within all religions, even though I’m not really religious myself.”

Those are Unitarian Universalist beliefs!

“Sometimes I feel like there’s not a place within religion for people like me.”

There is a place for you within Unitarian Universalism.

This isn’t meant to be evangelical or trying to indoctrinate anyone. But I hear SO MANY people say things like this, especially people in their 20s and 30s. The community you’re looking for might be out there at your local UU congregation!!!

I’ve been attending services at my local UU congregation for a few months, and I am becoming an official member next weekend. This wonderful community feels like home, it’s everything I’ve been looking for. I’m so happy to have found somewhere that makes me feel like I’m truly part of the community, where people believe in justice and compassion and working together to make the world into the beautiful place we know it can be.
