"But you see, when you’re in control of someone else it makes it all the more easier to blame your failures on them, and their success on yourself." He watched the girl rip up her tights as he spoke, giving her a confused and displease look; a silent question. He didn’t dwell on his confusion for long though, falling back into the previous conversation. "I didn’t mean physically." Spencer explained, mentally listing all of the doctors that could be accountable for her injury. He was stuck between the possibility of Aaron and Viktor, but giving the interest the girl had for him, Spencer decided that it was the former. "I’m meant emotionally. Someone let you down. Or vise versa."
"I don't think I'd mind very much if I let someone down, it's not something I'd focus on. The only wrong ever done on me, that causes me any trouble, is that my mother killed my pet rat, Aaron. You probably already know that, everyone seems so interested in him, if only he were here to bask in his new found fame." She smiled, closing her eyes, smiling and exhaling. "Things were simpler back then, although my mother insisted, 'Blythe you'll never have a family of your own if you don't stop meddling with rodents.'" She imitated her mothers voice as she quoted her, a mocking look scrawled on her face.
