Epiphany

I give you everything from the moment I meet you.

Love, respect, my mind, trust and go as far as trying to sway my opinions for you.

Unsatisfaction runs through your thoughts and comes out your mouth.

“How do I please you?” “ Why don’t you like me?”

I reminisce on where I could’ve gone wrong, where I made a mistake for you to take a disliking to me.

Nothing comes to mind, I then look down at my hands, an epiphany swirls.

Silent Hill

Off the ski left, we both grab each others arms,

laughing so carelessly with our cheeks so flushed with every shade of red and pink you can think of.

We fall and tumble,

strapping our boots to our boards we turn to each other, giving the signal of initiation to glide down the mountain.

Wind in our faces, the crunching of snow and the silent hill, all bring peace to our loud, running minds.

She stops and lays face up, looking at the wide, white sky with her hazel-brown eyes. I don’t know what she’s thinking,

All I know is, we share the same love that lives in the sky.

You might think people have their shit together but we’re all just as confused and lost as the next person, some people are just better at hiding it.
