#vent /#ptsd ment /#ask to tag /#hovers hands over keyboard as i debate writing up a dimi + pt/sd analysis .#smth about writing out trauma and the clear leads makes me sweat . this happens every time i try to verbalise it .#writing charas like dimi are so cathartic for me but it's always that block that i can't get past .#i get so far and then i get clammy .#i feel if i write it out then it's like acknowledging that there's something adverse about it within myself .#i always loop on this. its like exposing too much of myself to the world and i worry that i'm projecting.#that i'm looking too deep into it and i'm just projecting my own issues onto a character. like i want so bad to relate to someone.#and then everyone can see how ... desperate i am just to have someone to relate to. i cannot think of anything worse.#i'm glad i wrote this post because i think i just unpicked something rly tangled in my head.#i think it stems from just. having an unusual trauma. hostage situation But Not Quite.#it's just isolating.#eh i'm lingering now and that's not where i want to be tonight.#anyway gg dimi writing this post was free therapy xoxox

dimitri has no sense of taste ( ageusia ), lost after the tragedy of duscur. this can be brought on by anxiety disorders in extreme cases, which he certainly has (post-traumatic stress discorder). he has tried as many different cuisines and flavours as possible to try and rekindle his taste buds, but none have worked. this isn’t an affliction he is open about, but has certainly used it to make others feel good about their cooking (see: flayn)
