My friend and I are both white & from the South but shes that brand of white person who gets offended when people "stereotype the South" or say the Confederate flag is racist & she claims ppl have come up to her in the street & harassed her for being white/straight/Christian (as if); shes always like "My family is from Scotland, we didnt even come over until like the 1900s" & I cant say a word 2 her about it because she gets so angry. Theres no question Im just so fucking annoyed & disappointed.
Actually, not only can you say a word to her, you should say a couple, namely, “fuck the fuck off, you fucking racist idiot.”
So other than the confederate flag not being racist (because it obviously represented a culture that kept slaves), I don’t see whats wrong here. If she CAN trace her family’s heritage to Scotland pre-1900, cool? People really do stereotype the south, which is basically the same as being racist. Judging someone because of a preconcieved notion based on a cultures exrreme examples.
Stereotyping the south is the same thing as being racist? Really. I suggest you look up the definition of racism
The point is discrimination. You’re focusing on the easiest part to attack.
There is a huge difference between prejudice and racism. I attacked that part of your statement because that was your main point
Fair enough. You made a valid point, I shouldn't have compared it to racism.
When white people trying to convince you why they should be able to say Nigga....
Just for that white girl
I don’t try to convince anyone.
Nigga.
Hold the fuck up! ✊

My dad got a new tattoo that includes the Confederate flag and I was arguing with him that it's shitty and racist, but I had to stop the argument and just walk away because I discovered that he thinks that the Civil War was fought between the southern states and the fucking British. Stay in school ya'll.
I guess if you’re stupid enough, supporting the Confederate Flag is I guess not exactly racist.
Tells people stay in school. Puts apostrophe in wrong place in conjuction. You + all = y'all.

Dennis: I can’t believe this. [Frank and Charlie] still haven’t paid tribute. It’s been ten minutes. Not a wave, not a nod. Have you seen them do anything to acknowledge us?
Mac: I thought we agreed that we would not let it get to us.
Dennis: It’s not getting to me. It’s just, you know, a little bit rude is all I’m saying. It’s, you know, irritating. Whatever, I don’t care. I’m…I’m over it.
Mac: ‘Kay.
Dennis: How good is their table, though?
