hello, so I really love your bleach fan art and I'd love to get some tips on how I can draw in the style like you. I really suck at drawing but I'd like to get a few tips how I can get started to draw in the bleach art style

Oh my goodness thank you so much!!! Kubo has always been such a huge inspiration! As a general tip use lots of references for sure. But I think the things that define most Kubo's style is How he draws eyes and fingers.

The folding of the eye crease often conects somehow with the eyebrows, and the eyes tend to be Very "heavy" looking, his characters have an iconic "resting b*tch face".

The lips are simple but they always have a single short line to define the upperlip.

The limbs tend to be Very thin in comparison with the rest of the body, the fingers are long and slender and have a squareish look on the tips.

I also noticed The hips are always narrow even on curvy females.

Males have straight lines from brow to middle of the face to represent noses while females and children tend to have Very short curved lines.

And I keep a file of my favorite characters in different angles (mainly 3/4, profile, front)
