Easter Candles
In Greek Orthodox tradition, the God Parents buy their God Children a candle (or Lambatha) to take to church. Nowadays these candles are decorated with gorgeous tulles, mesh, ribbons and goodness knows what!!
Below are my 2012 designs. I adore them but after all they are my designs!!!

Whats your theme?
Why are we all of a sudden obsessed with themes??
I must admit, one of the first questions I ask potential clients seems to be "Do yo have a colour scheme or theme?" Some do, some don't. Most have an idea of what they want things to look like and generally at this point will say catch words like elegant or unique or vintage.
Recently a friend asked me to decorate her bridal shower. I asked her the question. Within 20 minutes she went through " I'm thinking vintage.. perhaps high tea.. what about garden party... how about mad hatter!!..." The 3 bridesmaids were hosting (and paying for) the event so of course their opinion mattered! And again we went through a myriad of potential themes. I basically said, and they agreed, to not put so much emphasis on naming a theme but rather focus on creating a beautiful event. This worked beautifully with so many of us giving ideas we created an inspiration board of pretty things we all loved and decided to go with pretty pink softness.
At the end of the day, the bride to be was overwhelmed with the outcome. The hostesses couldn't be happier. Our bridal shower was a success. I've attached some photos, you be the judge!!

Welcome to my blog!
Well after having my first child and needing some kind of hobby to keep me busy, I decided to start a business specialising in Christening and Wedding Bomboniere and decorations – Bomboniere Boutique!
So I’m plodding along doing a lot of jobs for family and friends and generating work via word of mouth. This suited me as it gave the time to have another child, deal with selling and buying a house, having my eldest child start school and then thinking ..well I really should try and further this business. Make it a little more available to the masses! So the website begins production! The Facebook page gets started! The website finally finished! And I LOVE it!
Then I thought, I want a blog too, but what do I write about?! I find myself starring at the computer screen wondering about this for what feels like hours! Then I thought that’s it! Ring my sister! She is a little more technologically minded. Well it was worth the phone call and the outcome is this!! I love my new blog and my new website! And I love what I’m doing at the moment.
Bomboniere Boutique is not a showroom or a factory. I like to think of it as a boutique. Small but catering to each person’s style. Working with the client to discover what they want and who they are and individualise and personalise each job. Because it’s my business and the client deals with me not an employee who is their just to collect a wage the end product I feel is always something I can be proud of. Whether it’s a Christening bomboniere for an intimate Christening or a Wedding bomboniere for 200 guests, or styling a baby shower or decorations and favours for a child’s party (my favourite at the moment!), we have something for you. If not, email me your idea and see what I can find for you. I would love to hear from you with any ideas on styles, colours or themes.
Say you have a celebration but don't have a gift idea yet! Perfect, you can see my previous work and perhaps something will catch your eye! I love getting a call or an email from a client saying, “I saw this on your website and just want to know if you can change....” I just think “let the designing begin!” Most of my current work is either on the BB Facebook page or the Bomboniere Boutique website.
On my blog, I will let you in on some secrets and tips, tell you about new products, share my inspirations and experiences at events, shows and celebrations and more.
Welcome to my blog and please enjoy.
Andrea Georgi.
P.S
Don’t forget I'd love to hear from you!
