“Did you need something, or are you just going to stare all day?”
Roommates
—♔ He sighed and reluctantly shrugged his shoulders, answering Axel’s last question. “Usually. Roxas and Riku don’t particularly like to get along.” He doesn’t say it too loud, but he knew that Riku heard him at least. For some reason the two could never just be nice to each other. At least they were civil.
—♔ “Oh! How about the diner that’s a few blocks away?” He piped up excitedly. “Their food is really good. Promise.”
The thought of Roxas bickering with one of his housemates all the time was almost funny, but mostly, it just made him really curious. If they didn’t get along, why would they move in together in the first place? The only answer he could think of was Sora. The boy seemed nice, but was he worth all the bickering? Now he was intrigued.
“I could go for some food,” Axel mused. When Sora piped in he glanced down at him, “If it’s the place I think you’re talking about, then i’m in.” His eyes shifted to the his favorite blonde, “What about you, Rox?”
“Heh. Jealous much?”
Roommates
—♔ Sora had really only been gone all of a minute, maybe two, before he heard Roxas calling for him. He rolled his eyes and ignored it, figuring Roxas and Riku could handle each other for at least a couple minutes.
—♔ He changed into shorts and a t-shirt, not much different from what he had on before but at least it wasn’t his pajamas. He joined the others once again, and sighed when he found them still in the entryway. “Can’t you two behave and get along?” The brunet frowned. All he wanted was for his roommates to get along with each other.
—♔ “Axel, you can come in and make yourself comfortable.” He offered.
The question caught Axel off guard, though honestly it wasn’t the first time he’d gotten that question. He didn’t get a chance to answer though before Roxas reacted. He couldn’t help but chuckle, waving off the blonde’s concern. It wasn't like Riku was demanding answers after all. “Relax. I’m not planning on killing anyone today. I just came to visit.”
After Sora spoke, he kicked off his shoes then walked into the living room. It was kid of strange to see so many people in the space, since he’d only ever seen Roxas here, but it was a welcome change. The place seemed too big for just two people anyways. “Are they always like this?” Axel asked with an amused smirk
Roommates
—♔ ”Conversation or not, you could have mentioned him at any time." Sora frowned at his roommate and rubbed the back of his head. "Guess I know where you’ve been sneaking off to now.”
—♔ ”Well anyways, come in, come in." He turned and moved back into the apartment. "RIIIIIIKUUUUU!" He called down the hall towards the bedrooms. "Rox has a friend over." He yawned, covering his mouth with his hand. "I’m gonna go get dressed. I’ll be right back." He waved slightly and went back to his bedroom to get out of his pajamas.
When Sora mentioned Roxas sneaking out, he glanced at Roxas and raised an eyebrow questioningly but didn't say anything at that moment. He stepped inside though when Roxas's roommate insisted on it and closed the door behind him. It was actually a little odd to be here with Roxas's roommates around. Axel didn't mind, he was actually excited to meet them, but he could just tell Roxas was unhappy about it. Why, he wasn't sure, but he gave the other a playful smirk before ruffling his hair, "Come on, Roxas. Lighten up. It's been a while since we've had a day in anyways." He kicked off his shoes at the doorway before moving toward the couch in the living room, "Besides, how bad could your roommates be?"
Roommates
—♔ He looked back up at the red-head again, not recognizing him one bit. “It’s nice to meet you, Axel! I’m Sora." He gave one of his big grins as he introduced himself. "Roxas never mentioned you before." Which was a shame. Why hadn’t Roxas told him about this friend of his? It wasn’t like he had to keep him a secret or anything.
—♔ ”What? Where are you going? You don’t have to leave!" Sora grabbed and tugged on the blond’s arm, attempting to get him back into the apartment. "You can hang out here.”
"He didn't huh?" Axel was a little hurt, but not surprised. Roxas had always seemed like a fairly private person. "Not even once? That hardly seems fair."
He wasn't sure why Roxas was so eager to leave, but it only helped to make Axel more curious. Who was this mysterious roommate that Roxas didn't want him interacting with? Was the other one home as well? "Yeah, Roxas. What's the rush? It's not like we had plans or anything," The corner of his lips lifted into a small smirk, "Why don't we just stay here?
Roommates
—♔ He blinked as a frown formed on his face. Roxas was trying to hide something. He could hear it in the tone of his voice. “Doesn’t sound like nothing.” he mumbled to himself as he inched out of his room and down the hall to the entrance. “Who’s here?”
—♔ He asked the question a second time, but he was already at the door looking upon the stranger with the flaming red hair. “Oh. Hello.” he greeted politely, before turning on Roxas. “Friend of yours?”
Whoa, someone was really in a rush today. "Hey, what's the hurry, Roxas? Slow down, will ya?" Before he could say more, the voice from inside got even closer, until Axel finally saw a face to match the voice. It was kind of funny actually--if Axel hadn't already known better, he would have thought the stranger and Roxas were brothers. They looks somewhat a like at first glance, but the more Axel looked between them, the clearer the difference became. The first word that came up when he saw this Sora guy was sincere. Was he though? Axel intended to find out. "His best friend actually," The red head chuckled and shot Roxas a playful glance before turning his attention back to Sora. "So, you're one of Roxas's roommates, huh? Any friend of Roxas's, is a friend of mine." He ran a hand through his hair in an absent attempt to fix it, "The name's Axel."
Roommates
—♔ Sora had been minding his own business that morning. He had decided to sleep in, the temperatures not high enough for him to want to be outside. When he had eventually woken up, he only stepped out of his room long enough to grab a bowl of cereal before retreating back to his bed.
—♔ It wasn’t until a few hours later, and a short marathon of a TV show he started halfway through and didn’t understand, that he heard knocking at the door. Someone was calling for…Roxas?
—♔ Curiosity gets the better of him, and he gets up and peeks out the doorway. He can see the blond’s back, although the guest was hidden by the wall of the entryway. He clears his throat slightly and interrupts. “Roxas? Who’s here?”
"Hey, hey. Don't be like that, Roxas," Axel raised his hands up and looked almost sheepish. Honestly, was it so horrible that he'd come over to visit? "What's the big deal, anyways? It's the middle of the day. Got something to hide?" A voice came from inside the apartment then, faint, but Axel still heard it. His eyes shifted past Roxas then, trying to get a glimpse of the speaker, "Hm? Are your roommates home?" He hadn't been expecting that, but it wasn't like Axel minded. He was actually horribly curious.
This could either go really well, or really badly, Axel wasn't sure which. He was hoping for the first one, though, of course. After all, it wasn't like he was doing anything wrong, he just wanted to see Roxas. He hadn't heard from or even seen the blonde in almost two weeks, which had to be some kind of record. Whatever the case, Axel figured a visit was way over due.
It took him a bit to remember where Roxas's room was, but after a few bad guesses, he stumbled upon one that seemed right and knocked. When there was no answer to that, he knocked again, "Yo! Roxas, are you home?"
"Hey, stranger. Did you need something?"
"Shut up." He grumbled, lifting the other couch cushion and wacking Axel with it. "Not my fault you can’t keep a job okay?" Though….at least he had a job…
"Hey, come on. Don't be like that, Roxas," Axel was only partially successful blocking the hit, so he winced, but still managed a smile, "What's the problem? Are you still job hunting or something?"
"You….want to meet them?" Roxas wasn’t sure if that was a good idea or a very bad one. "Wait….didn’t you just start a new job like a week and a half ago?"
"Yeah, sure, why not? Any friend of your's, is a friend of mine," Axel smiled, looking amused as he leaned back and relaxed against the couch cushions, "See, this is why I said we need to catch up. That job's old news, Roxas. You've gotta keep up."

That won a chuckle from him and he rolled his eyes. “You’re ridiculous. Well I used to live by myself and now I have two roommates? That’s something I guess. What about you?”
"Two extra people is a pretty big change. When do I get to meet them?" He smirked playfully before shrugging at the question, "Nothin' too exciting. I'm going to start a new job tonight, but that's no fun. Actually, things have been pretty quiet lately. It's weird."
