The closer she grows to Korbyn, the less Liyana wants to disappear to make way for her goddess. But she has no choice — she must die for her tribe to live. Unless a trickster god can help her to trick fate — or a human girl can muster some magic of her own.

REVIEW:

I loved how complex the characters were, including side characters not only main ones. They are not only heroes are villains. How story took some unexpected turns made it even better. Another thing that was how that I have to mention is description of surroundings by the main character at the begining of the book. It was so beautiful, the words just flowed.

REVIEW:

While ending to Allison shatters the looking-glass wasn’t surprising I still enjoyed the ride. There were lots of unexpected ups and downs along the way and that’s what made it enjoyable. The author didn’t give Allison a free ride just because she's the main character. The politics and feminism also weren’t so glaringly obvious as in the second book. Though I will say that for the record “Men have all the power” (in our world) is stupid statement. We don’t live in middle ages. It’s just generalizing reality too much. Also while I absolutely adore love interests, there are simply too many of them and nobody gets enough time to shine.
