Georgia Beers’ One Walk in Winter has very little angst, making it a perfect choice if you want to hide from the world and its stresses. The crisis may be a little predictable, but it’s resolved quickly and in a way that’s satisfying and leads to a perfect happy ending. Make sure to grab a cup of hot cocoa and snuggly blanket before you start reading (or whatever the opposite of that is for folks in warmer climates), because you’ll want to settle in and devour this whole book in a single sitting.

Third case: transman murdered by female intimate partner.

Fourth case: male comedian jokes about murdering trans people. 

Fifth case: killer unidentified. 

Sixth case: beaten up by boys yelling anti-gay slurs.

Seventh case: beaten up by men. 

Are you seeing a pattern here? The only case with a female perpetrator is against a transman, not a transwoman, and doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the victim being trans. One killer isn’t caught, the rest are men. And the majority of the victims are racial minorities.

How are you linking this back to feminists criticizing the inherent sexism and homophobia of the transgender movement that is primarily perpetrated by white males?

Why aren’t you criticizing male violence?
