Hey, everyone! I have a couple questions for you all: -Has everyone obtained their copy of The 5th Wave? -Would it be alright with everyone if we started reading it September 1st? That's it! I hope you're all having a wonderful day and reading a fabulous book. I'm sorry that the group's been a little quiet recently; I know that school and jobs and the like have been more prominently alive than they were in the summer months. It's absolutely okay if you need to take a break from the book club to focus on schoolwork or employment: we'll always be here when you get your work done! Feel free to read at your own pace and join the discussions at any time; there's no pressure. Reading is fun and optional, and I'd hate for anyone to feel as though it was becoming a chore. Hey everyone!

Shatter Me is dragging out a little longer than I intended for it to, so the new goal is to have the book finished by Friday, August 8th. All the discussion sections are up, so you guys can read and discuss at your own pace.

Next week we'll be starting The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, so find your copies! I intend to have all the discussion sections put up from the beginning with the page numbers, chapter numbers, and rough dates to have them read by (hopefully that'll make things easier). If it's okay with everyone, I think two weeks is a good amount of time to have most/all of our books read.

Hi lovelies :)! As I'm new, I thought that I would introduce myself :). I'm Agnès (the-giver-bookworm), 27 from France. Beside books, my hobbies include practicing aïkido and watching TV series (a lot ;)).

For the  bookish side of things:

One of my most favourite books is The Giver, I think it's the one book I've read the most in the past! 

I love Harry Potter and anything realated to HP.

I really like John Green's books.

My favourite OTP is Will/Lyra from His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman.

I read lots of thrillers, if you ever need book recs from thriller & mystery, I'm your girl!

I try to write reviews but it's not my strong suit for now. I hope I'll be able to get better.

And in conclusion, I'm really happy to be here :)

If you haven't been notified already, we have started reading Shatter Me as a group. If you are interested in reading it with us and joining the discussion, all I need from you is your goodreads account so Emily or I can invite you into the Goodreads Group called The Bookworm Society. 3. Because you are newer to the group, I have to add you to the members page! All you have to do is submit me some links that you want to appear under your name, and you'll be all set! Shatter Me is a definite go since it won the majority BUT if enough people are okay with doing two from the same genre, I can either set The 5th Wave up to run at the same time or to start as soon as Shatter Me is done. Also, when is a good start date? Give me your opinions, please.
