If you keep up with that line of thought it makes things a little easier.” Although he hoped (perhaps foolishly) that Bree wouldn’t be subjected to more situations like this one until she had more years under her belt. He nodded as she spoke, taking in what she said, his mind going through possibilities. “Perhaps this was hiking accident. Once we get him stabilised we’ll be able to run some tests. Could you?” If the man had fallen foul of a vampire in the area they needed to know, and deal with the vampire accordingly. “It’s too early to tell what his chances are.” He crossed over to the nurses’ station, removing a pair of gloves from a box. “I wouldn’t suggest staying in here, but you can go to the waiting room or my office. Thinking about it, it would be best if I come with you when you go back. I might recognise the scent, if this is the work of one of us.”

Bree knew it would be a while till she had Carlisle’s control, but she hoped that she would get there. Since the young vampire got a second chance she knew that she was going to do everything she can to stay in control. Bree never felt what it felt like to lose control, and she never wanted to. Unlike the rest of the newborns she was around Bree had control right when she was turned. “I hope so. I don’t like knowing there is a vampire out there attacking humans, but not feeding from them, but hurting them.” Bree came from an abusive home, so she hated acts of violence, it’s why she was happy to know that there was a vegetarian life style. “Yeah, is there any where I can find a new shirt since this one.. is um.. kind of covered in blood.” Bree knew that she was going to have to find a way to get money, so she can buy a new shirt since the girl didn’t have many clothes, and this one was ruined. “But I’ll wait, I want to know if he is okay.”

Once the man had been positioned on the gurney Carlisle wheeled him into the emergency room. “You’ve done well. I’m proud of you. Most vampires would have attacked him then and there.” He spoke quietly, at a volume only the two of them would hear. “I don’t think we can say if this is one of us just yet.” Once he got the gurney into the nearest bay he turned to the nurses on call. “He needs O-negative and an oxygen mask.” The heartbeat was faint, but it was still there. Taking Bree by the arm he led her back towards the doors, giving them a small amount of privacy. “Were you by the forest or were you in town? Did you pick up on any scents? Please, tell me as much as you can and quickly.”

It was a good thing that Bree fed last night since it helped her keep her urges under control. “Well I was more thinking about helping him then the blood.” The young girl replied. Bree followed him to the other room, happy to finally be away from the body since she was able to relax more. “A road deep in the forest. I was almost at the cabin I live at.” She explained to him. “No, but I can go check it out when I get back there. I didn’t waste a second after finding him since I wanted to make sure he had the best chance at surviving.”

It had been one of those rare slow days at the hospital. A few patients to see, but most of Carlisle’s shift had been dedicated to the mound of paperwork on his desk. Hearing Bree’s call, he abandoned the file he had been filling out and made his way towards the entrance as quickly as he could without rousing suspicion. The smell of fresh blood permeated the air, his brow furrowing in concern as the smell hit his nostrils. For Bree’s sake he hoped that her control hadn’t slipped. Reaching the entrance, his eyes locked onto the profusely bleeding man. His eyes flickered to Bree’s face, relieved to see that her eyes had not taken on the tell-tale burgundy hue. Grabbing hold of the end of a nearby gurney, he pulled it with him towards Bree. “Put him here before anyone sees you.”

Bree placed the man on the gurney. Once he was down, even though she still had blood on her, the vampire let out a sigh of relief. This was her first time experiencing something like this, and she was able to control herself. It was really hard, but she was proud of herself for doing it. She also had more respect for Carlisle since he did this everyday of the year. Something she knew that she would be able to do for a long time. “I found him on the road today, there aren’t any marks on him. But I couldn’t just leave him there, and calling an ambulance wouldn’t get him here quick enough.” She explained to Carlisle.

Bree was on her way back from school when she found a body in the street. The human was still awake, but barely. The girl didn’t know what to do, there was blood everywhere. But she couldn’t just leave him in the street to die. The young vampire held her breath, and lifted up the body. She ran as fast as she could to the hospital. “I need help.” Bree shouted, she found it harder and harder every second to resist the blood. She had self control, but she was also still new the vegetarian diet, so it was hard.

“I wouldn’t say Stupid. It would be stupid to write a vampire of as stupid.” she smirked “Dangerous would be more appropriate.”

“And I was killed for being associated with vampires that didn’t killed in secret, while I never killed myself so out in the open, when I did drink human blood. But since they are Volturi nothing will happen to them for killing out so openly.”

“ Now really though what would actually happen if someone got lost in the woods? I mean they go on for days and days. Would anyone actually find them? Would they eventually starve to death? What would actually happen to someone… ” Emmett wondered aloud with his brows pulled into a slight frown as he stared off into the vast amount of trees that were before him. “ I mean sure Chief Swan would get his search party out if it was that bad. But has anyone ever gotten so lost that they’d never be found again… ” Shaking his head Emmett turned his gaze towards the person he hadn’t noticed before and grinned. “ What would you do if you were lost in the woods? Would you wait for someone to come and find you or risk the chance of never to be seen again? “

“I would hope that Chief Swan’s team would find them alive. I mean I’ve been alive fora couple of months, and no one who has been lost have been lost for that long amount of time. Unless they were killed by a vampire, and purposely taken into the woods. But that is a really good question.” Bree replied to Emmett. “And while I know the answer is to get somewhere safe and wait since that is the best chance of being found and surviving, I would probably try to find my way out. Then again vampires can easily find their way out of a forest.”

“I’m surprised we haven’t found more bodies actually…last i heard the Volturi and all their goddamn merry men were in town.” Rosalie grimaced at that. “-It’s getting dangerous to be like us.”

“And all of them are actively defining the rules your family and the packs put in place. Like it’s suppose to make them all tough, except it makes them stupid since the vampire secret could be revealed.”

“I know, this town was always so peaceful, it’s what is nice about the town. Now you can’t go a day without finding a dead body.” Bree frowned, she hated how much foreign vampires were ruining this town.

Maybe it was because Bella told Bree to let the rest of the Cullens get to know her, so Bree asked Alice to go shopping. Knowing that the female Cullen loved shopping and fashion. And well, Bree was kind of hopeless. “How does this look?” She asked after trying on jeans and a plaid button down.

Bree had missed Diego so much. She could’ve easily ran away with Fred and never had died. But she wanted to try to find Diego, but he was unfortunately killed by Victoria before then. “I missed you so much.”
