Hana was walking down the sidewalk playing a game when she bumped in to someone, her gaming system fell out of her hand and broke in to pieces. "Oh no!" She said picking it up and then looking at the person she bumped in to "Sorry about that. I should have been paying more attention!"
It was the first time she had spaced out in a while: mostly because Jadine managed to lose her ‘prey’ - they just sort of...vanished. So with an annoyed huffed, she was not in her headspace when she was bumped into by the gamer.
An instinctive hiss left her lips, luckily covered by the sound of the gaming system falling to the ground, which drew her back into reality. So she quickly dropped down to gather up the game console for her, along with a few of the possessions she dropped.
“Na, na - it’s fine, oke. I was kinda in ma head, so I was in ta wrong ‘ere ta. Is ya dinges ‘aight? Ta hit wa hectic!”
@flashbang-up wanted a starter!
A drink with the cowboy seemed to be enlightening after all - partially to hear that as much as he was into the Wild West, he never did what she saw to be an essential - after all, you are what you eat. She believed that if you really wanted to get a taste of the culture, you had to taste it. A point she tried to get across with some enthusiasm, although it may be somewhat difficult, now that she has a few beers in her.
“Ya haveta be tunin’ kak, brue! Ya been in ta west, but ya never scored yaself a slanga? You’re mal!”
Jesse looked perplexed, a small furrow to his brow as he moved a toothpick side to side in his mouth before speaking, “’m sorry, a what now?” he questioned, small smile in place as he placed his beer to the side and crossed his arms. “Don’t think I’ll ever get used to them slang words.”
“Err...gimme a tic’. Snaka’s. Ta ones ya fin out west. They eat ‘em all ta time in Western’s, hey? And ya neva tried it... yet ya consida yaself a cowboy. Datta be ta best joke I hard in weeks.”
my experiences with overwatch characters
genji: despite all the 'i need healing' memes, they're usually pretty nice. they know the entire team is watching and waiting for them to crash and burn
mccree: either spawn from hell or just here to have a good time (usually the latter). will probably try to say hi at the enemy spawn
pharah: very friendly. will almost never get their ult to go off but won't be salty about it. thanks healthpacks
reaper: KINKY. either cursed as shit or will say hello to anything and everything. anyone that mains reaper has dreamt of him crushing their head between his monster thighs
solider 76: VANILLA. it's okay though, most people want to fuck him but can't explain it
sombra: definitely only here to have a good time since she's basically useless until the devs give her a monster buff. if the player spams the boop voiceline you will hear that noise in your nightmares forever
tracer: very high chance they're gay. very high chance one of the enemy team will switch to tracer because they're annoying
ana: absolute sweethearts who will risk life and her other eye to keep you alive. secretly enjoys watching the person she's nanoboosted lose their fucking mind trying to make the most of it though
lúcio: again, really sweet. unless they're on ilios in which case he's public enemy number one and even if he's on your team you shoudn't trust him
mercy: probably picked healer because everyone else picked genji and hanzo. alternatively, a masochist. if the pistol is used a lot they probably mained medic in TF2 and don't fear god or death
zenyatta: most likely play competitive too much. another top tier picks for gays but they probably have clinical depression
symmetra: [flicking teleporter on and off] welcome to my reality welcome to my reality
reinhardt: in the top three most likely to say hi in spawn. please get behind him
roadhog: this one is skin dependent. normal roadhogs are like your weird uncle but roadhogs with the islander or junkenstein's monster skin are maniacs and will hook your entire ancestral line across the map
winston: i've only ever seen like three. cryptids
zarya: tied with tracer and zenyatta as a pick for gays. a good zarya will take your bullets and shove them back up your ass at mach-1 speed
d.va: the chaotic good of the universe. probably has play of the game before the match has even started
bastion: probably tried to play bastion in competitive once and that was enough. anyone that places him on that elevator thing in hollywood is a scorpio
hanzo: they take skirmish way too seriously
junkrat: THE CHAOTIC EVIL TO D.VA'S CHAOTIC GOOD. the sound of a riptire is actually an effective tactic to kill the enemy team irl because half of them will have a stroke out of stress
torbjörn: lava eating machine. all of them are cursed and i'm personally afraid of him
widowmaker: 57 shots, 1 kill. if they're using the odile skin they're probably a straight male
mei: fuck you to hell
“Ha ha ha… fast. Is funny, very good. You are, eh, comedian, yes?” She at least makes an attempt to smile at what she assumes in a joke, which is already more than can be said for most other people.
“Am just glad there is controlled environment so I can be testing new types of bomb without having to find old, eh, old čeličana to be blowing up instead, yes? You were also good.”
“Nah, nothin’ like that! Ya was much fasta then I expected. Ya should be called ‘lightning’! Or whateva ta word fa it is in ya language - quick to strike, and packs a loud and lighting punch!
...Although, I haveta ask: whaddya doin’ with ‘em, anyways? I mean, fa a attack mission, would ya explosives really be a good plan? I mean, ya might find some...whatzit? Selasaina? Out ‘ere, and the noise is sure ta catch whoever ya wa gonna work on after ta one you’re attacking.”
As much as she probably shouldn’t do this, she couldn't help it she had to practice, and the AI bots weren’t programmed to test such a skill. So she had to settle with whoever was in the Training rounds at the time, much to her dismay.
So she waited patiently and quiely waited for the right moment to strike...there!
The small woman slipped out of her hiding spot, making sure to keep low and behind the unsuspecting prey, wrapping her arms around her victim’s waist as she ascended, getting back to her feet as she tugged upwards - not to lift them, but just enough to get their attention with the tight bear hug.
“Wa-haa! Gotchya!”
“Mm hm,” Cecilia hummed, but now she was curious as to what the other stuff was in her bite. “What is usually in your meats? Maybe you could embellish a little, not tell about the stuff that makes the people run?” she offered, tipping her head to the side.
“Yeah, the werewolves will probably buy your stuff, along with the beserkers. I don’t recommend selling in here only because the goblins might get agitated. For money, you could always try our missions board over there,” she pointed before smiling at her question.
“Just one of our basics here. Try it!”
Oh...she was serious about the whole supernatural thing...maybe she should’ve looked around before she entered. But now it wasn’t much of a concern to her intoxicated mind. So she just made a a small hum, nodding lightly before taking a big gulp down of the beer - a slight visible shiver going down her body during the process, because as well as her body could take it, she was never as good as she believes she is. With a warm sigh, she continued.
“Can’t do that, oke. They all separate meats, I only mix ‘em when ta cook ‘em. Sure, there is beef a ta, but I hunt, so it’s supa hard ta find beef out in ta wild, hey? Fa example, ya probably eatin’ venision or bear.”
“Shots, Cecie. You’re quite the game~” She added with a tease as she finished her glass so the bartender could lcean it. How long was she going to take again? Soon is never soon enough. “…I’m from South Africa. I’m just out and about, looking for some work. Or more importantly, to buy my meat.”
“Well thank you, Jade,” Cecilia grinned, a tiny twinge of blush rising on her cheeks. Taking her glass, she cleaned that as well, humming pleasantly. “South Africa? Wow. That’s so far!” Cecilia eyes widened with emphasis before she smiled again.
“When did you get here, traveller?”
“Ya tunin’ me, oke. Ya brue’s a needle ina haystack, I tell ya. I already took two weeks serchin’, but gama meat is runnin’ outa style fast. Turns out pepa ‘round ere care about what meat ta puttin in ta mouths…” She sighed, resting her head in her arms as she made grabby hands to practically nothing.
“Gimme another.”
“I bet. Glad you could at least make it!” It was getting easier to understand the other as she went on, something Cecilia was a bit proud of. “Well, I think they’re more scared of being poisoned or something. You could always try sellin’ to supernatural beings,” she offered, and then laughed at her grabby hands.
“Alright,” she moved and put a bottle of beer in one of her hands. “There ya go.”
“Nah, don’t sound like it. They wa ma than happy before, hey? But then ya tell ‘em what in it, suddenly they wanna stray like a drought. Nobady wanna even try ta rabbit in ‘ere, even afta they say it’s a noice meat. Some pepa, I tell ya.
...Probably betta off with supernatural, ‘cause they probably won’t squirm fa game meat.”
“...Tas, chyna. What sata beer ain it?”

Reblog if you think chubby boys are cute
Cecilia watched her and giggled when she nipped her own finger, amused. The other seemed like a fun gal to hang around - she liked her already.
“Jadine. Jaaaaade~” she cooed her name and then smiled. “I’m Cecilia! You can call me Cee if you’d like,” she responded, “pleased to meet you!”
The huntress slipped her finger out of her mouth, slipping her hands down to lightly tap against the smooth counter, her cheek resting against it between her arms. The warm smell of the many, many drinks served and spilled was comforting.
“Cecilia? Ceee.....ci~ Ceeeeeeciiii~”
"Are you in the mood for some meat?"
“Are you offering me some? If so, yes.”
“I’m always offering, oke! What sorta meat ya inta?”
“Hmm.. I’d say any meat that doesn’t have a lot of fat on it.”
“…Nat mucha help ‘ere, chyna.”
“How ‘bout trying Venision? Nice and firm for ya, and keeps ya fat down, hey?”
“O-Oh, sorry..” She laughed, rubbing her neck. “Venison sounds perfect.”
“Nah, should’ve asked betta - nat ya issue, oke.”
“So relax and gimme a sec- gotta find it now. Ya kay with dried meat?”
“I hope so~” Cecilia grinned at her, sliding the glass down before looking curious at her when she drew out the meat.
“Oh?” she looked at her a moment before shrugging her shoulders. If it was poisoned or bad, she wouldn’t die. Just be in a lot of pain, but whatever.
“Sure! Thank you~” she smiled, leaning over and taking a bite. “What’s biltong made from?” she asked after chewing and swallowing.
The woman seemed eager to share her snack, practically pushing it all into her mouth once she tried to take a bit from it - it was bite-sized, anyways. Giving a hearty grin, she placed her head in her hands once again, grinning smitten as she watched her eat it. She loved watching people eat something new. Their reactions always showed a lot about their personality.
“Dried and spiced beef, nothin’ special. Although I’ll admit that I make it from more than beef, so I dunno what meat’s in ‘ere, I kinda forgot. Mighty good though, hey?”
Cecilia recognized that and opened her mouth more, purposefully giving her finger a little teasing nip as she drew away. She ate it as if she was eating anything else, pleased with the meaty taste. It satisfied her hunger, the one that always made her teeth ache.
“Yeah! I like it fair enough. Thank you for sharing it with me, miss,” she said gently, prompting a name. After all, if she wanted to flirt she needed to know who it was.
The nip took her back - that was unexpected. So she unintentionally bit the same finger lightly, as if to over-ride the nip as she took a secound to register the question she was asking - or atleast, implying. She forgot that they didn’t introduce themselves to eachother yet: licking usually came much later, after all.
“Hm? Ah, right! I’m Jadine - butchya can call me Jade - all my brues do.”
