One of the most fun moments of our trip happens when students randomly burst into song. Our notorious BIG was sung on the street of Italy!

Colosseo and Forum adventures!
Starting our morning at Colosseo! The sun is shining on us again today.
Boston Prep juniors braved the ever-present crowds to take in the overwhelming beauty and grandieur of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Cathedral on Saturday morning.
On our scavenger hunt through Rome! Thank you, Ms. Stephenson, for making this an annual tradition
That face you make when you're feeling the jet lag
The pantheon, a temple once dedicated to all gods during the ancient Roman days, is one of the best representations of Roman Architecture. A giant building almost 2000 years old is known for its large dome and giant column. When Christianity became the main religion it was converted into a Catholic church that still is used for worship today. Inside, we found the tomb of Raphael, a popular painter whose artwork decorates many important places in Italy, including many rooms in tbe Vatican!
First stop, trevi fountain. Turn your back to it, make a wish, and throw in a coin. It's easy to see why this beautiful landmark serves as a huge tourist destination!
Even the walks to our destinations are filled with beautiful art and architecture!

Fascinated by the smallest things
Today was the beginning of our journey to Rome with the juniors of Boston Prep. As we departed for our hotel, dreaming of the place wherein we would rest our heads, wash ourselves and settle into the most arduous part of the journey....what you’ll find are the cantankerous laughter of young men sitting in the back of the coach bus blissfully recounting and commenting on all things different about Rome. “Why are their cars so small?” “Wow that ambulance...that sound” To the ooohs and ahhhs about the Roman architecture.... #BIGCHURCH. There’s a lot to be fascinated by. But not so much as the fascination that confounded a group of us but thrilled us at the same time. Juan found the most amazing part of his trip so far to Rome and it was....THE MOVABLE SEAT! He yells “oh my God!” We all turn to see what the reason for the outburst was...and I obviously thinking that something really wrong was taking place turn around to the most flabbergasted face I’ve seen all day as Juan exclaims, this place is amazing.....the seat moves.” As he moves the seat and it shifts from its original position to the left, the cackle of laughter began! Juan was not playing! The seat moved and his decision was clear. He says “oh I’m staying here (Italy)” Hahahaha....For Juan, Italy has got the smallest things all figured out! And that’s what counts! #Rome2020
