CD Spotlight: Ready For The World (Japan Edition) - INOJ

This is the Japanese edition of INOJ's debut album, "Ready For The World", which released in 1999. The album took 3 years to make. The album was known for having hits such as "Love You Down" and "Ring My Bell" which were covers of older songs, but in Atlanta Bass style. Actually, the title of the album comes from the band's name who originally made "Love You Down"

She did have singles released in the U.S., but the album was never released there. At least she made features on the VA Bass comp. Album "So So Def Bass All-Stars"

I first heard of this release on a youtube video in which the person was unboxing the same exact album. I didn't know much about her at the time, so I gave her a look. I actually really like the album, and it was a shame it didn't release in the U.S.
