Blog Migration

(( Okay, so I’m gonna be archiving this blog (Gateless Vlad) and transferring all my sideblogs to a character hub page. If you’re following my sideblogs, you won’t have to re-follow, but I will have to re-follow everyone that I’m following on here rn on my new blog. If you’re following this Vlad, you will have to re-follow once I get his blog set up.

So… What is it that Vlad is destined to do? Frostbite said that the map sometimes takes the traveler not to just where the user wants to go, but to where the user needs to go. For Vlad and in his request for the map to take him to his destiny, where he wants to go, and where he needs to go in order to fulfill some grater purpose would be the same. Somehow I doubt that Vlad’s destiny is to rule like he would like to think it is, but given the locations that they took him to, what is he actually destined to do?

The Infi-map took Vlad first to Ancient Rome, then to China (I think) to see the Ming Monks, to the Wright’s pilot flight in 1903, before finally landing him in Frostbite’s Kingdom where he was apprehended. What was the map trying to lead Vlad to? I honestly don’t know.

The only idea I have is that these are all times and places of great learning. Rome was once a center of learning and philosophy, famed for creating some of the most wondrous technologies for its time, creating new schools of thought, and even establishing the first ideas of government that we still look to today. China was prosperous for many many centuries thanks in part to their philosophies and beliefs in self-discipline that were best exemplified by their monks. The early 20th century was a time of great growth in the United States as new technologies and new forms of industry were being created, including the creation of the first aircraft.

I think that maybe, the Infi-map was not trying to tell Vlad to rule at all, but to stop, take a break, and listen. I think that it may have been trying to get him to settle down and learn something. Exactly what? I don’t know. But that’s just my best guess.
