"geez... Anyways, just take the cloak. Don't really care if you sell it or use it. Just don't throw it away in the trash, its a waste of good materials you know."

"Super cold nothing! I'm not gonna be able to walk anywhere with this dragging behind me every step up of the way." Sure he was right Lich wouldn't ever feel cold. But that really was the least of her worries with something like this on.

"Gee skinny as a stick?" It surely couldn't be a compliment and with how quickly he handed off the cloak he may have been showing pity to Lich of all people. Which really might've been the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her...

"How big is this cloak?! You could fit like 3 people in something like this!"

These machines was not something Sinbad became close to. It was hard to even fathom about them, things that could give you refreshing drinks or food. That's something out of a dream, and here he was, facing the object. It seems the other was not too different, judging by their clothes..

"I understand your curiosity in this... machine. I too was the same, although I have never tried it before. How about we try it together?? I would usually go by the pictures of that's on the bottle itself." He points at one that seemed to resemble a lemon. "Like this lemon drink. What do you say? What to embark on this adventure together?" He winks.

"Oho, I see that you have a open mind as well. Its just that...these prices, though they seem cheap. Such drinks were usually reserved for nobles and upper class, and now even someone like me could afford it."

Arms cross the chest, emphasizing muscles. But his eyes were focus on the machine still, waiting to see and make a decision. But for now he will go with what the other suggest.

"Lets see, the machine requires money, it will be extracted from our machine. and then..."

"Very well, lets do it. together."

"Who, me? I'm no schemer, sir! Try to stick with the 'competent' label from now on."

She was trying to coax him into performing free labor, like he did for these other places, but it looks like she talked her way into employing him instead. Still, not bad!

"If you'd like to stick with shoveling snow and other acts of manual labor, I can see about offering you a custodial position. How do you feel about cleaning spills and taking out trash?"

"Pass."

It was stern, no nonsense sort of way that said, end of discussion. After all its not a dream job for someone like him.

"I don't clean up other people messes. And not even getting paid for it will endear me to that sort of work."

In the end, this conversation went no where.

"I"m cleaning up the snow because its annoying for everyone involved. Not because I like cleaning."

So, he isn't employed right now, but he'll work in exchange for food and drink...

Susie rubs her chin, trying to think of how she can use him for her own benefit.

"Huh. I see. That's all well and good, but wouldn't you rather have a paycheck?" she asks. "That way, you're not relying on the kindness of strangers, but a rock-solid contract! It's respectable!" she adds.

"Of course, if you did want to continue your training, for... say, a business a few blocks from here, then I certainly wouldn't complain! You might even get an ice cream out of it, too!"

"You serious? I mean that awfully kind ...wait a minute. Your one of those scheming types that like to be arrogant behind everyone back and then be kind at the front, aren't ya? I met plenty of co-workers like that. Not that its a problem or anything."

Aesthetic...is difficult to maintain.

"This is why I never bother with this kind of thing." The one time she wanted to try and be somewhat helpful and she truly and utterly found someone that seemed to have bricks for brains. Humans were supposed to be some cornerstone of evolution and here it felt like talking to a wall.

"Comes with sitting inside all day doing nothing. Keeps me warm too even if I wanna go out and see what extros are roaming out here. Another cloak like yours probably would just be helpful for anyone else."

In Hindsight, Grigori is a next step of human evolution. a natural resource when the human body is filled with magic more then it could be filled, and also that Grigori purposely does not use his brain for anything but muscles on purpose.

"Its cold...for anyone else and you look skinny as a stick. Here, take this extra one I got."

He holds out a giant white cloak to the person. he just had one beside him.

"Buddy, are you serious right now?" It was incredibly out of character for Lich to care about what anyone was doing but a certain select group of people. But sometimes the primal beast just heard something that made her question if maybe she was the sane one. Which really would've been the biggest crime of them all...

"Maybe I dunno, put a shirt on? Ever think about that to stay warm?"

"Pft, who needs a shirt. This heavy cloak is doing all the work here."

Though he's not shivering, looking at Grigori can make anyone feel cold. After all who just makes sure that he never wears a shirt everyday, or that he works out to maintain ...no that was a lie. Grigori own appearance is static by nature, more of a spiritual being then actual human. So working out to maintain image is useless, but to increase strength alone.

"Maybe you need this cloak more, you are very skinny after all."

"What? No, I'm not paying you to do that! I was going to ask if you were looking for a job, but now I think I'd better run a background check on you first!" she huffs.

Brushing off the last of the frost, Susie has settled down somewhat, though she's still looking at the shirtless man like a cog in a machine that doesn't quite fit.

"So what are you doing out in the cold, shoveling snow all by yourself?"

"Did somebody pay you to do that, or...?"

"I got nothing to do, and its good training for precision."

And strength, past experience tells him that he does not have enough of that to matter. His arms barely ache from the effort he's outpouring right now.

"Besides , the shopkeepers give me free stuff sometimes. So I guess I can repay them this way."

The cold is utterly devastating, if you were not trained like Grigori was. Who could wear almost no shirts and not feel a thing...which is a lie because he is cold, but feeling it and improving his cold endurance is another form of training. After all there could be cold monsters somewhere around the corner.

"...Geez, its cold."

Susie takes note of the man shoveling snow. If she wants to open an ice cream shop in this kind of weather, then she's going to need a clear pathway so customers can come inside.

She's about to ask him if he's looking for employment.

"Hello, are you — ACK!!"

And then snow's flung her way! Susie shields herself from the cold, and while she may have avoided getting snow in her face, now her favorite mittens are wet, and that's terrible!

"What do you think you're doing?!" she yells, flicking frost off her fluffy pink mittens. "You could've buried me alive!"

Well, he certainly won't be hired now!
