I was dying. This is so Ben. All the sounds and just just same names, funny and accents. God, this is my favorite scene of the episode and maybe my favorite Cory moment for a long time. I just loved I. I thought it was so funny. -Rider

I was dying. This is so Ben. All the sounds and just just same names, funny and accents. God, this is my favorite scene of the episode and maybe my favorite Cory moment for a long time. I just loved I. I thought it was so funny. -Rider
We don't see her decision-making, but I think she makes it very clear in that last scene that she did make her choice. She made her choice and she's letting you know it's her choice. She doesn't even want to know what your question is before she makes it clear. I physically remove myself from you. I'm going to stand with my father. I have my arm around my father. Thank you for giving this to me, Shawn. And then to come back and say, now, what did you want to ask me? So we don't see her. We don't. She doesn't have agency on camera, but she had. She's made her decision. -Danielle
But yeah, Jack now is the rich. Is leaning into being the rich kid? -Will
Oh, I don't understand what happened to this character. -Rider
I know. What the heck happened there? -Danielle
That was a weird B story. -Rider
Why not do this the entire time and give him something to do? Make him the rich kid for the five years he's on the show, whatever. So that was a weird B story. They're clearly, I think Danielle said this a couple episodes ago, and she's right, which is Michael and the powers that be, not at ABC, but on working on our show, are already doing whatever they can to hope maybe there's a spinoff with the four of us. So the rest of the characters be damned. Let's get rid of them one by one. “Let's kind of marginalize them as much as they can. Let's focus on the four leads and let's move forward and see if we can get a show with the four of them. And that's what it really kind of read to me. -Will
Cory and Shawn give each other the most loving embrace we've ever seen on the show. And Shawn is off to find Angela. -Danielle
Now outside the student union, Shawn finds Angela studying at a nearby table and sits down next to her. Clearly stressed, she admits, You know I'm going crazy about this. He sighs, me too. She thanks him for letting her work it out and he plays it off. Hey, you had to go through your process. She explains she went back and forth so many times because Shawn means everything in the world to her. Shawn nods. Then Angela reveals, And I could never leave you. He smiles knowingly. And I could never leave you. -Danielle
Trina looked uncomfortable. -WIll
She's like, what are we doing? -Danielle
Trina looked really uncomfortable. -Will
Her line is like, you're touching me. -Rider
And it's like, so I felt like the whole season took her for granted. And then this episode was actually like, this is a beloved individual who means a great deal to everyone here. -Danielle
And you could argue that Cory's learning his lesson by the end of the episode in that he wasn't actually aware of what his wife was doing and he's completely wrong in this argument. You know, it's there. It's not like that character is rewarded all the time. But in general, Cory is rewarded. But, you know. -Rider
It gets better, because I don't know if Matt and I did this on purpose, if the show did it or whatever it was, but we're both wearing our wardrobe from HE. Double Hockey Sticks. -Will
Really? -Danielle
So that's the jacket I wore in HE. Double Hockey Sticks. I still have it. And that was the jacket Matt's character wore in HE. Double Hockey Sticks. And that came out that year. -Will
You guys probably literally were like, wait, everyone else is wearing a leather jacket. We could bring ours. -Danielle
And so we're literally wearing our wardrobe from the movie we just shot together that year. -Will
The audience ooh’s at the implication of sexual encounters between married people. And Shawn rolls his eyes. -Danielle
Yeah. I feel like this was, you know, the, the idea for this scene was kind of like a callback to that great phone scene in An Affair to Forget. So they're just trying to like, bring that back. -Rider
Yeah, one of us in this conversation loves Matt Lawrence, and I'm pretty sure it's me. -Will
Topanga is stumped. Unbelievable. Everybody is coming apart and they get closer. But do they? -Danielle
No, because in a second we're about to break up. -Rider
Shawn pipes up. Shut up, Yoko. -Danielle
That's a good line. -Will
So funny. -Danielle
Actually, the Cory, Shawn dynamic is, Shawn commits to something and drags Cory into it, and it works out. Like it's the air, it's the B&B's B&B episode. It's like, that's the dynamic, is that Shawn takes something too far, poor Cory gets dragged along, and then it's not that they commit and do great things together. Like they're schemes never work. -Rider
So the lesson, I guess, is that in a marriage, sometimes one person may be in a surge of good luck and doing great and succeeding. And if they are, it's only because they're in love and being supported. And the other person at that same time might be down in the dumps, and that's okay. That's okay. And then that might change at some point. The other person is doing great and the other person is down in the dumps. So you have to not be afraid to fight. And that if you love each other and are supporting each other, it doesn't matter if you're... It's a partnership all the way around. That's what they would say is the goal. -Danielle
Yeah, I suddenly felt what Michael and the producers were fighting for, which is like, part of your character is your hair. Like you can't help it. And like, obviously I did not want to be this character anymore, or I wanted to define the character in my own terms and like own it. And I wanted to cut my hair in real life. So I fought for it. And now that I got it and I can see it, I'm like, yeah, it doesn't look bad, but it's also not Shawn anymore, which is like the whole point. -Rider
