Dante shook his head with a warm smile “I don’t believe in that gate keeping crap. Millions of people had the movies or shows be their stepping stone into the comic world.” Hopping over the counter he took the other man’s elbow into his hand guiding him further into the store.

It had only been a month since Dante had left his last relationship and with the move he hadn’t gotten a chance to really get laid so he put on his most flattering clothes and made his way to the nearest club. Fuck or get fucked he wasn’t picky right now as long as they were hot - at this point he was down for just sucking some guy off he felt like a how but didn’t care.

“I know she’s obsessed with Gotham and the twins on that show, at the moment. She’s more of a DC girl. I guess anything Batman related would be good.” He smiled, still unsure what exactly would be a good gift. “I can show you a picture of her if you think that would help.” He offered with a small laugh.

Dante nodded excitedly the information making a lightbulb go off and his eyes light up as he bolted across the room.

"Your girl is a joker fan my friend and I think I have something that might fit her interests." He came back with a metallic box in hand with hand painted details this one having scrawled laughter written across it and a joker's smile painted on the top.

"I started doing fan kits. Boxes containing a characters best appearances. I wanted to do it as a way for people to either spring board into comics or just get their faves appearances all together." He laughed turning the box upside down to show a sticker listing the various comics in the box and that there was a small plush joker inside.

"It runs about 40$ but I can find something smaller if you like."

"Yup it's all mine - I just moved here not long ago and my best friend moved in with me to help me out a bit."
