Thanks for being so honest and ignoring part 1 of my anon. No, I'm not Kaze, and I'm not talking about Portland. I'm talking about the link you gave with the maps showing "Racially motivated profile based shootings" and I'm talking about two COMPLETELY different counties. And yeah, one county listed as red literally is population 4000 people for the entire county and I worked at the jail there. I think I'd have noticed any black person coming in, let alone being shot at. You're so dishonest.

I never got part 1. And why are you on anon. 

I linked the study to show that there is proven racial bias among police because that’s what was being contested. How does you working at your small local jail disprove that?

For that matter, in which map is your county in red? The one for Armed vs. Unarmed statistics? The one for armed black victims? The one for unarmed black victims? Race and Ethnicity Across Armed Status? There are 16 powerpoint slides to choose from. Not to mention that the study focuses on county-by-county trends, not any county in particular. SO how was I supposed to know which one you were talking about?

Being nice requires energy.

Being rude for no reason also requires energy, true, but being indifferent, or even cold, it doesn’t cost anything.

For some people - people like me - they have to remind themselves that they actually need to put in effort to show that they do care about what you’re saying, about whats going on, and to actually look like the give a shit.

Having a general conversation with someone I am close friends with is HARD because of how much ENERGY is consumed just by making sure I outwardly show how invested I am in the conversation.
