Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅 9/11/2001

Tomorrow will be 19 years. People in this country seem to try to not remember how we came together in this time and nothing else mattered except that our neighbors standing beside us were American. That’s all that mattered. The younger generation has no clue what it was like watching on live TV as people fell to their deaths from the windows... or watched as the towers crumbled to the ground, knowing people and first responders didn't make it out in time. Or seeing the people run for their lives in a cloud of ash and smoke.

I WILL NEVER FORGET. I was in 8th grade math. They came on the intercom and told teachers to turn the news on in our classroom. I remember being so afraid and so scared for our country. This is the America I miss. The America in the aftermath of this. It took an unfortunate and horrible situation but the patriotism in the aftermath was the highest and most alive I’ve ever seen it. It felt so good for months. Wish we could get to that place again some day! ❤️
