I have a question.
What the hell is up with this "everything has an age limit" nonsense? Like the last four posts I saw were about people being "too old" for something and I'm always seeing things on other social spaces about how "cringe" it is for someone to have XYZ interest/hobby/whatever while being over 30/40/insert-number-here.
Why? Who makes these rules? Why would we let some random ass person on the internet determine the limits of acceptability on something in our lives?
You want enough plushies to fill a room that you could dive in and swim in soft and fluffy goodness? Awesome. Buy them all. Give them names. You want to put glow in the dark stars on the ceiling of your bedroom? Fantastic. Why stop there? Put them in the bathroom, too. You're not a kid and K-pop Demon Hunters is your whole personality now? You go, soda pop. Make the world (living room, car) your stage.
I could go on. But you get it. I'm sure everyone has something that they've been teased about or made to feel bad because they enjoyed. Just the term "guilty pleasure" is stupid. Don't feel bad because you like something. Why are so many people so determined to try to steal everyone's joy? The world is an actual dumpster fire and we all need every shred of happiness we can grasp at.
As long as it doesn't hurt anyone (yourself included), GO FOR IT.
Buy it, listen to it, make it, wear it, watch it, collect it.
And do not let anyone make you feel bad about it.
Least of all some stranger online that just wants everyone to be as miserable as they are.
