     His coil’s been going off nonstop over the past couple of hours, but Zack’s a man on a mission today and he hasn’t had time to check it. ( Probably just various team members checking in, he figures. SOLDIER is a pretty tight-knit group, despite how sporadic and dispersed their territory is. Their experiences in Platinum Jail have only solidified their trust in each other; the team is family, and from now on they stick together. ) Anyway, he’ll answer their messages later; his day’s been spent chasing down a former team member who ditched the second they no longer had Toue backing them. It’s been a fruitless effort; some people were clearly only in the team for the power.       The sun’s getting low by this point, the streets are getting emptier and a few of the guys are starting to talk about heading out for a few drinks. Their go-to bar is run by a fellow Rib player, one they’ve made friends with after all that happened. Zack rubs the back of his neck tiredly and considers turning in early.       Then there’s an all-too-familiar voice.

     Aoba Seragaki is immediately recognisable. His voice alone is a distinct thing, soft and hard all at once, and Zack’s turning to face the guy the second he hears him. A smile finds its way to his mouth. Aoba’s always a welcome presence — really, he’s the one to thank for SOLDIER’s current freedom. They’d have gone down with Toue if they hadn’t chosen to do the right thing and help this guy instead. Somewhere along the way, he became someone Zack thought of as a friend.       “Whoa, sorry! Y’must be exhausted, man.” That’d explain all the calls from his team members. Poor Aoba’s probably been on his tail for ages. “Tell ya what, I’ll take ya for food to make up for it.” He gives an enticing sort of grin. His eyes flick to the parcel, likely those new parts he ordered. “And I’ll leave a sparkling review for the best delivery boy ever.”

     Aoba was a little ticked to have had run all over the way he did, but really... He supposed Zack was well worth it if he was going to offer him some free food. A free meal was always accepted, even if baa-chan always stuffed him with enough food to begin with. Tucking his hair behind his ear, Aoba gave a rather full formed smile of his own. It was hard -- Zack's smile was contagious.

    Happy to have that package off his hands, he shoved both into his pockets, shoulders hiking around his ears. "Mmm, depends on what you're planning on getting me, Zack. So long as it's not something super cheap, then maybe I can accept that." Of course, it was a tease as his smile drifted into the finer territory of a smirk.

    "Glad to know that my 'delivery boy' status will remain in tip-top shape, I was afraid my job would be at risk to, I don't know, the pizza guy down the street."  With a puff of air escaping him, he smiled endearingly all the same, brows arching. "So, is that dinner  something I can cash in on now, or is it an i.o.u. ?"
