Whenever I “remember” something I get worried that I’m just synthesizing the memory to fill a gap. I just remembered a very specific detail relating to another memory and I can’t even be sure that it’s actually something that’s happened to me.

yesterday i got hit by a blast of mist & everything felt like picking up beached jellyfish, trying to wash off their rough undersides thinking they're covered in sand

the sand is gone, i can see through the jellyfish, the roughness remains
