The watchman, an older man wearing a cardigan, holds the shoulder of a young boy. Pewee is wearing a newsboy cap and worn knickerbocker suit, and is barefoot. He’s maybe 11 years old. (I discussed his probable age with coworkers; Pewee looks about the size of a modern tall 8-year-old, but his nutrition and health care would have been vastly different from his modern counterparts! We’re estimating he’s in the 10-12 range. –C)

I've never liked the term "Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria" and how it's seen as a symptom of ADHD but I could never really verbalize or pinpoint why that is. This article is a fantastic explaination of why RSD is not really a symptom of ADHD, but the result of the trauma of being neurodivergent in an ableist world.
