His skin was burning. A trail of ice and fire where her fingers had ghosted over his cheek. He kept his hands steady, his mask perfectly intact. He could not stop the shiver that traced its way down his spine, and he hated her for it. Hated himself for letting her close enough to cause it. "You speak of certainty, of chaos, of bringing the devout to their knees. Is this your grand design?" He caught her hovering wrist, not harshly, just holding it suspended between them. His thumb pressed once against her pulse, feeling the rhythm there, and his lip curled. "You are not chaos. You are not temptation. You are a spider who has forgotten how to spin."

There was a buzz of excitement running through her body, monitoring with a keen preceptiveness how he was reacting to her advances, although admitting he wasn't as easy to read as others she'd targeted. "I don't think you could pinpoint my grand design even if you asked that divine daddy of yours," she replied, a fire igniting in her eyes as he captured her wrist. HIs words only caused her to smirk, heartbeat remaining steady. "You think I believe that? As if that isn't something you're saying to tell yourself I won't have a web to catch you, if you give in and fall."

Arms folded against her chest, a smoldering fire burning behind eyes that glow a haunting pink as she stared Emery down unwaveringly. “What happened to “us against the world”, Em? You don’t get to just drop off the face of the planet whenever you’re in trouble, especially knowing I can help!”

She should've seen that coming, but to her dismay, hearing those words caught her off guard, causing her to cringe ever so slightly. "I..." Emery's words drifted off as she looked to the ground, avoiding the intense stare of the other. "I know I said that, and I know you usually can help, but this... You couldn't." The blonde admitted with a heavy sigh, brows furrowing. "I really am sorry for not saying anything... I should've at least left a note or something."

Cleo would never usually stop for a stranger, she hated any kind of awkward comversation that would follow after she stopped for them, she would happily drive by and honestly flip them off for being so stupid to end up in that situation. But this time she stopped just because it was a girl, and she looked around similar age to her. Fuck it, she thought, and here they were, the girl sliding into her passenger seat. "Sure thing, uhhh thank me? Hm, I don't really need cash or anything, I get by so I guess its cool, a name would be nice though. And a reason of why you are in the middle of nowhere, in the dark?"

"A name? Well, that's definitely easier to part with than cash, I honestly don't have much on me," the femme spoke, a sweet smile on her pink painted lips. "I'm Crimson." It had always been easier for her in situations like this to just use her real name, after all, those she targeted either never had an issue with the super sweet facade she posed or didn't live to tell the tale of the real Crimson. "It's so silly, I was on a walk, and I saw this dog that looked lost, so I went to try and catch it and get it help. And I didn't realise just how long I had been trying to find it until I reached this road. And because it was in the woods and overcast I was using my phone's flashlight when trying to find the dog, which drained my battery. Honestly, I'm just hoping that dog went home or somewhere safe."

Ricky has had a bit of a dry spell. Not intentionally but with his uncle demanding more and more of him, he barely had free time to do much but sleep, let alone date. He was making a name for himself in the mafia. Almost as powerful as his uncle was at this moment. Destine to be next in line but still, his friends thought he needed to have a good time. So they set him up on a date, something he normally wouldn't do. When he got to the place, to the table that was reserved. "Well, I must count myself incredible lucky to have such a beautiful companion for the night." He says as he walks up. "Oh." He says, a bit shocked before he can even help himself. "Well, if this isn't a surprise."

She had told herself that looking up at any footsteps incoming was a recipe for awkwardness on her part, so it wasn't until she heard the voice that seemed so clearly aimed in her direction that she looked up to see Ricky. Her eyes widened in surprise, but not before a light shade of pink crept onto her cheeks at the compliment. "Ricky?" Bailey spoke out, almost as if she wasn't entirely certain it was him that she was seeing. After a moment of processing, the femme let out a soft laugh, "That's one way to put it, I most definitely didn't think you'd be the person showing up here." She admitted, although, it did seem to ease her nerves slightly.

"We've been over this." Noah groaned, head squeezed shut. He was trying to ignore the way he could hear her blood pumping. The hybrid huffed a bit. He was trying to just rely on donor bags swiped from the hospital. But with the shortage, that meant his meals were far between these days. "I don't want to risk losing control."

"We haven't been over anything, you've told me," Clementia sighed in frustration as she walked over to him. She understood his hesitation, but she also could see how much this shortage was affecting him, and she couldn't just sit around and watch when she could help. "Noah, you've shown this much restraint despite everything going on at the moment. Surely, that's proof that you have far more control than you believe," she stated, stopping in front of him with her arm stretched towards him. "I trust you. You need this. Just drink, please."

Mateo can't tell if it's the bass rumbling through his chest or his heart pumping against his rib cage. "I think you've had too much to drink, Arachne." Mateo was trying to save face. Be the somewhat good guy he attempted to be -- even with what he was wrapped up in. He wouldn't confirm it, not outwardly at least, but she's right. He does feel something for her but it's wrong. She's his brother's girlfriend -- well, on and off at least from how his brother talked about it. "I -- we really shouldn't." But gosh does he want to.

"Now, now, Mateo, we both know I'm damn good at handling my liquor," the femme replied with a chuckle. It was adorable to her the way he tried to act like this had to be the alcohol making her say things, things she didn't mean when she meant them with her whole chest. Was Arachne in a complicated relationship with his brother? Yes. Did she know whether they were in the on or off phase at the time? Also, yes. Did that stop her feelings towards Mateo or the fact that she wanted to prove that he felt something? Hell no. There was a devious gleam in her eyes as she moved closer to him, manicured hand placing upon his chest as her lashes fluttered in his direction. "And yet.. It's all I want to do..." She breathed out seductively.
