Oh right I forgot to say, I’ll be on a semi hiatus until Sunday. I’m on a trip and seeing mgk two nights in a row (yesterday and tonight) and hanging with my back home friends. They flew in from their states (one still lives back in NY and the other moved to Wisconsin lol) to VA and were all meeting up. Anyways I probably will not be on to write much but always down to chat on discord or in IMs!! Discord is xtinx

Honestly, Saraya didn't have anything against him enjoying himself, it was when he could get arrested that she started being a little more concerned. "Your body needs to start listening to your brain," she smiled a little bit before moving the pillow between them out of the way. Tyler's eyes dart to the pillow but he doesn't comment on it. Figured she felt comfortable. He listened and didn't say anything, like normal, he let her voice her feelings. She was right though, they did have all of that when it came to their friendship. "you had me at drink. i'll need a nice glass of red before we sit down for this awards show," mckenzie sighed in relief, following after alfie towards the open bar for the night. she usually was able to handle these sorts of nights a little better thanks to her lexapro. but sometimes the anticipatory nerves messed with her anxiety and she needed a little bit of liquid courage as well. though, a few years ago mckenzie had gotten to a point where she was just honored to even be nominated at all for the night. she had 5 awards under her belt already so it was just a nice feeling to be even thought of at this point. she ordered her usual wine of choice and thanked the bar tender politely before dropping a five dollar bill into the tip jar. He offer's a small smile, just an uptick of the corner of his mouth. He can tell the nerves are settling in. He's watched it plenty of times now to see the signs. Didn't matter how many of them she's been in attendance -- and receiving an award -- she still acted the same each time. He orders himself a scotch and turns to face her when she asked him. "Well, the answer is always going to be you but that may be because I'm bias and don't want to lose my job." He jokes before shrugging. "I think the competition is actually decent this year so it's really up for grabs but they always pick the person with the most trending song on social media so does it really matter?"

Thank god she's not sick of him because he does worry about that sometimes. He's such a greedy boyfriend he wants her all the time, and even though he doesn't see it he's clingy as hell. It helps that she's just as greedy as he can be. She's always touching him in some capacity if she can. From holding his hand to just resting her food against his. He is her other half in so many ways that being near him just feels complete."So keep ice packs on hand. Got it." She jokes before snorting. Steve rest his head against hers, his eyes softly closing, breathing starting to even a little as he relaxed. "Mmm, bed does sound...good." He breathed softly.

As she slaps her thighs, his eyes open and he looks at her, part of him was ready to just fall asleep there on the couch, because the thought of getting up again. He looked at her and groans, grabbing her hands and pulling himself up "You're lucky I love you. I was so ready to sleep here." He teased lightly.

He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her with him towards the stairs, climbing them and flopping onto the bed, opening his arms "Come here."

"As much as I want to just pass out here, I know for a fact that if we fall asleep on the couch, we are going to wake up worse than we already are going to." The ache in her bones was already setting up from the fight. The bed would at least allow them to have a little less pain when they woke up.

His hand then lowered again, and he smiled as Katherine took his hand and squeezed it. He nodded at her, and lent in, kissing the side of her head lightly. "I want to try and be there as much as I can, for both of you." He replied and smiled "And if I have to pop out, you can stay and I'll return to you." He assured her.
