Lousy Portraits (Open)
Sayaka giggled and nodded along with him. âWell, animals are known to be excellent judges of a personâs character and true intentions!â She smiled, proud of herself for knowing that much! She was sure Gundam knew more on that subject after all. She just knew the basics about animals that probably everyone knew. She looked at the hamsters, making sure to stroke each of them so that she would not make any of them feel left out, before speaking up. âI apologize, I must use both hands to finish this drawing.â She said with a smile, talking to the hamsters here. She moved her hand away from petting them and to her paper to hold it steady.
She smiled up at Gundam when he said hers was good too. âI am very glad you like it. I just hope it does you justice!â She giggled and smiled again. She didnât think her drawing looked much like him except the outline part. Maybe adding color would help. She hoped. She tilted her head as she tried to shade in his hair those many different shades of grey and black. She had about four different shades of grey that she was using, as well as a black. She was still pretty confused just how his hair worked, and if he styled it like that every morning, but she tried to shrug that off and finish up his hair. It was looking pretty decent so far! The grey parts were starting to stand out apart from the black, and that made Sayaka feel accomplished.
Gundam nodded, slightly impressed that Sayaka knew that. "Correct!" He replied, smiling slightly and resting his free hand on the table, "I suppose that means that you are in fact a very nice girl." His eyes trailed down to the hamsters, and let out a small chuckle. "I am sure they do not mind." Plus, they got enough affection back at home. They were spoiled little pets.
It's far better than mine, Gundam thought, simply smiling, she has nothing to worry about. He was impressed so far. He thought that Sayaka was fairly easy to draw; simple, but not in a bad way. A good kind of way, like a single rose. As to how Gundam did his hair; that was a different story. Let's just say that he went through a lot of hair gel. He moved his hand to the colored pencil box, shifting through the pencils to find a pink that best matched Sayaka's bow.
