Solo mission to Big Sur after wrapping up my work project today. I don't think there's anyplace I'm happier than where the forests meet the seas. 😍 (at Big Sur, California)

I had to come back for more tonight, but the moon was camera shy. I guess she had to recover from her performance last night. But, not without peeking ever so slightly out from behind her curtain of clouds. I almost didn't wait. It was pitch black for about an hour after sunset, and the roar of the crashing waves wasn't quite loud enough to muffle the sounds of the monsters creeping in the bushes. 👀 But alas, my patience paid off as a car drove by and perfectly illuminated the white structure hidden between the trees on the hill. 😊 (at Montaña de Oro State Park)
