Take this as an alternative, but it is impossible for me to see honor and national tragedy without knowing what ills to be made soon after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Following the attacks civil rights came under shadow of Martial Law, an estimated 120,000 American citizens were put into internment camps because of their ethnicity, and later the retaliation of a nuclear attack on two civilian populations. Today in the wake of 75 years it is hopeful to imagine that mentality lay deeply buried but the times haven't changed. Great wars and their tragedy only seem to breed more war rather than peace. And longer this war-bent mentality continues the more meaningless life on this Earth becomes as we live under the sun of an empire.
