Gridiron 100 prologue

Pesky headwind with evil intent all day bar the closing 20km out of 207km. A splash of rain but not enough to get you wet. The ferry from Southampton to Hyde although expensive (£9 one way for me & bike, the Hoob went free)was worthwhile as it saved riding through a lot of grey circumnavigating Southampton.

Accommodation at the Angle & Blue Pig in Lymington perfect. Just enjoying a fantastic dinner.
