On a scale of “is occasionally forced to bathe” to “Instagram model with sponsors to hoe for” how involved is your OC’s Skincare routine?

What are your OC’s food preferences (flavors/textures/spiciness/calories/ when and how they eat) and how did they get that way?

What’s something pointless/petty/unimportant that IRRATIONALLY ANNOYS THE HELL out of your OC?

What’s your OC’s response to being asked for money by a homeless person?

Does your OC get lost easily? What do they do when they do get lost?

What would STOP your OC from Doing The Right Thing in a tense situation?

Wand Wood Series Number Fifty Seven: Reed

Reed, Harry Potter Wikia:

According to the Hogsmeade branch of Ollivanders, reed wands were best suited to those who were bold and were eloquent speakers, and proved to be very protective friends. Coupled with a core of dragon heartstring, the owner’s loyalty would be greatly admired by their friends.

Thoughts:

Owners of reed are bold folk, despite their often thin and tall stature. They tend to jump into situations head first, and like to live without a particular destination or goal in mind. They seek a general feeling of accomplishment or enlightenment, no matter the place or subject.

Despite this, they have a strong idea about what they want to feel and do. If something displeases them or makes them feel insecure, they may attack the cause of this discomfort/insecurity with great prejudice. When insecure, they can become overly sensitive and self-pitying.

They are protective of their achievements and belongings. Not liking to share credit or responsibility, they have the tendency to take over a whole project during group work.

Eloquent speakers, these witches and wizards excel at using language rhetorically and learning new languages quickly.

They can be a bit materialistic. It is important to them to have a fine appearance, and to live in luxury. They believe that appearance does hint towards the nature of a person or place, especially their self-worth and confidence.

The elemental composition of reed is water and earth based, with fire as a minor element.

There is talent at magic to to do with repair, connection, death, piercing, talismans, and healing. It is one of the best wand woods for healing, especially the in the transferral or donation of magic or blood. Astronomy is another subject where this wand excels.

Best subjects include: charms, astronomy, divination, ancient runes, history of magic, potions, and transfiguration.

Common careers often include: poet, smith, astronomer, astrologist,professional body piercer, healer, mediwizard, talisman artisan, journalist, writer, Seer, editor, speech writer, artist, and funeral parlor owner. Management positions suit them ill, as does teamwork in general.

Sand and turquoise swirls with stripes of burgundy curl out from this wand during spellwork. These swirls come with the scent of river water and candle wax.

Reed wands are at their strongest in late October through early November. The haunting music of pan pipes invigorates and renews this wand’s energy.

It dislikes gold embellishments, and well rarely allow them to set in.

Common patronuses include: donkeys, goats, kelpies, fishers,herons, cormorants, oarfish, black bears, and jackdaws.
