In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…
And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…
Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.
He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.
It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.

Reyla is kind of hard. Not because I think she’d be a bad assassin but their skills overlap with assassins a lot. Like they are great at poison and stealth and breaking and entering and traps. And I’m sure Lucanis will struggle to find crows with those skills. Add on to the fact that Reyla’s hatred for the rich and powerful and her views of the crows being an extension of the power of the rich. It’s just would be a kind of hellish combo of reyla’s skills not being unique for crows and convincing her being a pain in the ass.
But maybe they need someone to get an item and reyla having a bit more expertise in that in crows. Or maybe it’s a contract where they need to kidnap and reyla’s position expertise might be more useful because not all the poisons they know are lethal. Some just knocks people out. Like maybe they need to get information from a target before killing them kind of situation. And the contract has to be the biggest rock dick bag for reyla to consider. Where they would be willing to play in what is most likely a rich person’s power struggle because this one guy is that bad.
Evie Laidir. I feel like the most obvious is political power. Because of who her sister is but I doubt Evie would do that because it would put her sister in a bad spot. Even if she feels bad about treviso. Like yeah her being the sister to the herald of andraste could get you close to the target but I’m not involving Nikki in an assassin plot. Though as far as undercover stuff. The target being an art expert. Evie would know enough to be able to pass as an art expert and befriend the target and introduce him to like Lucanis.
I feel like that’s fair for Reyla— I can see why they’d be really hard to convince to help, but I’m sure Lucanis could find a true scumbag for them lol
And yeah, I think Evie’s art knowledge could definitely be really useful in specific situations!

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I love how varied and universally weird the circumstances for making lifelong friendships are. Here's this guy I accidentally messaged once and I could not imagine my life without them now. Here's this girl I was so scared of when I met her, I would kill for her and remind her to rest on the regular. Here's this other guy we have so much in common we used to joke we were the same person in different timelines. It took us years to meet in person and I attended his wedding. There are also people who entered my life in absolutely unremarkable ways but changed it forever for the better. It's wonderful how easy it is to find people to love.
