My insane family is about to get one member bigger! I found out my bro’s fiance is pregnant and while I was totally excited about it at first, now that the relatives are bringing like baby presents for them, it’s starting to sink it. I haven’t like played with a really little kid since I was a really little kid and now I’m gonna be an uncle! What if I, like, drop the kid or lose it? My brother would never forgive me! If anyone out there knows anything about being around babies or has any tips on how to keep them alive, I’d appreciate them going into the new year!! New year, new baby, new me - and I hope you’ve all got reasons to grow in the next year, too! Peace out, 2026!

Congratulations. My aunt had a baby and they are fun to play with and getting to watch them grow up is amazing. You won’t drop the kid unless you really really mean to, you’ll seriously be so careful that it’ll shock you on your own. But the parents will do most the work. It’s an amazing feel.

Hey now, that’s valid. Some of the professors are totally terrifying until you realize that’s mostly harmless. And I kinda figured that. I mean, Winston was around to dye the tree so well…Least it’s had it’s good moments, and the calm to balance out the crazy for when we get back. And that’s…Yeah, that’s pretty understandable. There’s always a ton of food at first but well…. Once it starts running low? I’m always a little shocked no one actually fights over it all. But uhh- Kinda? I got a new scarf, and some pretty cool Muggle books. But my parents are letting me head into Diagon Alley tomorrow to do the rest of my shopping myself. They never really know what to get me from the wizarding world so it’s easier that way.

Yeah I offered to test one of his hair products so you may see me sporting a different hair color at some point. Thanksgiving seriously is the best time of year for a growing boy and I’m a firm believer it should be a month long holiday where food like it is cooked every day. New apparel is always good. My parents still don’t trust me with money yet, so I was given everything and most of it was muggle related. Even when I get money for school supplies I have to show them proof of what I purchased.

Do you want the world to be a more happier and relaxing? I can make it. No, my owl just dropped dead. I am sad about it but there’s nothing I can really do but move on. 

I would say I’m more happy for you than envious. But if it makes you happy, then I guess I’m envious of you? Is this the kind of club where potions is taught more as an extra-cirriculuar or are potions being made for profit? Making the world more happier and realxing sounds great and all, but I’m debating it currently. Again, sorry to hear that.

I bet he did sleep but just not as much as he would have liked too. I would say it was poor preperations on both parts. It’s not really a good idea to stay in a dorm room if you snore a lot and you should always be prepared for the worst if you stay in one. Was New York any fun? I actually hae never been there. 

That’s true. Biting the bullet and paying extra money to give others peace sounds like the more humble option though not everyone thinks that way. New York was amazing. The people are a lot different and the lights are always on, it’s amazing. Wish I would have gotten to experience the Wizarding culture there but I would have been alone and my parents weren’t going for that. You really should give it a visit.

First order of business, New Year’s Eve is coming up and we all know most of you would like to have a New Year’s Eve kiss to celebrate the occasion but doesn’t have anyone to smooch. Guess what? I know the perfect solution for that. I am now selling pastries shaped like my lips that comes in different flavors — chocolate, peppermint, vanilla, and toothpaste if you’re super into realism. For only five galleons, you can now satisfy your fantasies of munching on my lips, taxes not included. 

Second order of business,  I will starting my own organization called Pucey-cat Dahls composed of yours truly and Isla Dahl, though she doesn’t know yet. But I’m sure I can persuade her anyway. We’ll be here for you guys if anyone needs any love advice, relationship counselling, or if anyone wants a horoscope from Isla. We’ll charge eight sickles per minute — once you start breathing in our presence, we start charging. 

Third, Potions Club is looking for new members. If you want a discount in the services I’m offering, I suggest joining. The more members we get, the more supplies the club receives. Be there or be square.  And this is very important to me so if you are someone who I have helped, you better be there if you want to be continued being helped by the things I do for this community. 

And lastly, my owl froze to death so my presents for everyone who deserves presents from me are currently still in my room but I will buy a new owl as soon as possible. That’s all for now.

It’s awesome that you’re able to start up your own business like this. Not innovative myself but I like seeing plans like this into action. Great price too from what I’m reading. Creative too.

So one of the guys who sleeps in the same dorm as me snored way to loud all night long. According to one of the guys here he’s kept him awake for 3 days straight. I’m just glad that he left the hostel today. 

A reminder to everyone who wants to travel: If you’re sleeping in a hostel and you are a snorer, please book a private room. 

He kept someone awake for 3 days straight? Shit, that’s a lot like to keep someone awake. Hostels are always quite the adventure. My family and I stayed in one while we went to New York and we were able to loudly hear a couple shagging seveal nights in a row. Thank Merlin for wireless headphones.

True, although I think I prefer the people who are afraid of their own powers to the ones who think they’re the best wizards ever to set foot at Hogwarts. That’s because you’re on my good side. Besides, I’m training a pack of Acromantulas. That’s bound to be very scary in the long run.

Not entirely sure. This is going to sound awful but I don’t recall seeing her at all this year. That’s true. Personally I don’t like violence but sometimes people need to be knocked down a peg. Glad I’m on your good side though, I prefer a non-scary you, no offense. Bravery is another strong suite of yours because that’s something I couldn’t do.

Perhaps from that angle it is, but it was a horrible ending to a children’s movie. I was really young when I first saw that. It’s like Old Yeller kind of traumatic. 

I’m glad I didn’t see it as a child because I’d be messed up for a while. I remember picking up the book in the library when I was younger but avoided reading it because I was more into covers than content. Don’t even bring up tragic dog movies, they ruin me.

I was probably too but I;ll just refuse to acknowledge that. I think muggle plants also have needs but they are basically like te right fertilizer and enough sun and water. And they won’t cry if you get them out of their pots.

That’s a good idea, though I feel as if these are one of the moments in your life you know won’t happen again with a guy like me. At least not while at my time at Hogwarts. I’ll figure something out, maybe it’s just something small as going to a corner that no one ever goes to in the library.Exactly. My mum was just as baffled as I when I told her about the mandrakes.

Thank you! We’ve been talking more since the big conversation and she explained it to me. She was pretty anxious even talking to me, so there’s some underlying issues there.

Welp, I hope panicky puff gets over her crippling anxiety. Speaking from experience, letting fear take the wheel is basically the worst situation for a person to be in. I don’t know, do you really? I can’t really see it. Now me, I’m potentially scary.

We can only hope. I told her that I was probably one of the least intimidating people here. It’s awful to be scared when you’re using magic too, that only opens the door for so many mistakes. Most people can’t, I honestly don’t take offense at this point. You seem really nice, I don’t see you as scary.

Kinda stinks a bit, but I mean. Tere’s worst places to stay. And you’ve probably got the common room to yourself, too. Getting up to anything fun over there while the castle’s empty? And I’m good! I missed the family like hell. And I had like. Two days straight of leftovers, which was awesome.

It does, honestly! I was a little intimidated by the professors when I first came here but it wasn’t that extreme of an extent. We are going to have dinner together the night before everyone gets back so hopefully that’ll help. That’s true, there are always worst places. Yeah this place is weird without everyone being here. Usually there’s always something going on but the highlight of the break has been the occasional prank.Leftovers are always amazing. I had to mine a majority of the time. It’s like The Hungers Games in my house with that kind of food. Did you get anything exciting?
