Chicken coop is nearing completion. Ran out of glue for the floor, so we can finish that tomorrow. Will be putting siding up, but i think that it is serviceable as it is. It's 10x12 on the inside, room for lots of chickens.

See that sign? That was my grandfather's sign. It said that he sold pioneer seed corn. My family has always been proud of that sign. He passed away the year before I was born. Now grandma is moved into a nursing home and ce and I are in the process of buying the farm... It's 8 acres. Nothing like the 160 they had back then, but I hope to make it useful. I would like nothing more than to replace that sign with one that says "Briarthorn Forge" or something of the sort and get my blacksmithing making money for us. But now that we're working on this project, it seems that nothing is farther away. We already have a horse here and ten chickens, and we're not even living here yet. The house needs major remodels to even get us able to move in. My mother is driving us all crazy. She refuses to listen to our rules and has no respect for our wishes. My dad passed away almost exactly a year ago. I don't know if I have the strength to see this through.

Should have stayed in bed today.

We just buried my uncle. My dad's brother. Junior didn't make it ten miles. That's 5 funerals in my family in the last year. I think that's enough for now...

Started yesterday, woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. Today the throat and sinuses aren't sore, they're just full of phlegm. Neat, huh? And I'm cold. My lovely wife has built me a cocoon so that I may grow into a vibrant beautiful butterfly soon.... K?

Stress has been rising significantly lately. My normal methods of reduction haven't worked. My backup methods aren't working either...
