Volvo 240 Turbo, 1981. This was Volvo's first turbocharged passenger car, part of an effort to add excitement to its safe but dull image. It was based on the robust B21ET engine, boosted to 155hp driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual with electric overdrive. It is pictured with the Volvo PV4, which was Volvo's first saloon car, produced from 1927 to 1929.

Volvo P1800 Gasser, 1969 (2021). Owned and built by Somerset-based Lee Johnstone the Gasser has a 600bhp big block supercharged 454 Chevrolet V8 engine, which has powered it to run a quarter mile drag race in 10.01 seconds and reach a top speed of 133mph. It was the winner of the 2021 Hot Wheels Legends Tour
