The Pictish Beast is a drawing of a creature found on Pictish symbol stones in Scotland. The Pictish Beast is described as a seahorse-like creature when it is show facing up however some people believe that it could be a depiction of a Kelpie, the Loch Ness Monster, or a dolphin. However people believe that the Pictish Beast could be a depiction of a dragonesque brooch which was a popular piece of jewelry that was shaped like an “S” that depicted an animal of some kind or even a political symbol.
