Happy Pride Month! Even if it's a little bit late.
I'm debating posting the fic mentioned over this month, but it still is not finished, so it'll be released in chapters.
On top of that, i have been toying with ideas of what if Astro met Dyle before the shutdown? Amd some story ideas have spun off from that concept too, which i made a piece for one of these ideas. I'll admit I got lazy near the end and didn't really finish it. I might add more later but i didn't finish it because i'm too tired rn.
(I know Astro only has 2 arms visible here, but the other two are still holding his blanket mostly closed)
I have headcanons for why Twisted Dyle appears this way here. It was a deliberate design choice and a headcanon i carry for him and all the twisteds through all my DW aus. All of which are explained under the cut, as well as the context behind this. Warning: it's kinda long ;v;
In my previous pieces with Twisted Dyle, his eyes are lifeless looking. This is an indicator of how much control he has over himself while twisted. The more lifeless they are, the more twisted he is, which means he usually follows his instincts. When Dyle twists, he dissociates. He's aware, but doesn't usually care to stop what his body is doing (emphasis on usually is important here). For him, his twisted form is his way of processing his day to day stress from keeping Gardenview afloat after the shutdown. He only twisted a couple times before the shutdown. He also has very high sensitivity to sound which is what causes him to snap when he hears something loud, like failed machines, airhorns, or Pebble's barks. I think overstimulation is the best way i can put it, except he lashes out in response to it instead of shutting down.
I also headcanon that Dyle was the first ever toon to twist, however since he was kept in isolation, nobody knew it even happened. I believe that after he spoke with Arthur and Delilah about appearing on the show after the transcript, he was still denied, and he was devastated about it. That devastation twisted into anguish and envy, and that was what caused him to twist. He destroyed the posters on his floor in a rampage, getting ichor everywhere. After he calmed down and untwisted, i imagine he may have tried at least cleaning the ichor up that was on the floor but couldn't clean it thoroughly for some reason (maybe lack of proper cleaning supplies for it) which left it as the faded stains we see on his floor now.
Back to the topic tho, his eyes are more lifelike here because he's in full control. In this case he was stressed and scared, not angry. In the timeline at this time, this would only be Dyle's second time twisting. Astro found him hiding by the train tracks.
Now my Astro headcanons (and partially his canons) play an important part here. Astro can sense when toons are dreaming, however to enter or manipulate their dreams, he would have to get pretty close to them for a stronger connection.
He could always sense every toon when they dream, no matter where he is or where they are as well as the type of dream they're having. This means he could also sense Dyle's dreams. That's how Astro knew he has existed the whole time, however he was unreachable. Dyle often has nightmares, especially nightmares from when he twisted the first time. Astro could sense his stress when he's having those dreams but he can't help him because he doesn't know how to reach him. Even when Dyle isn't having nightmares, his other dreams are often about being on the show with the other toons. These dreams radiate his lonliness which Astro can sense too.
In this case, when Dyle left his floor to hide, he was trying to hide from Delilah. The day was much busier than normal and Dyle was struggling to keep up. He got overwhelmed and twisted that way. They do have an automatic system for the trains, but it's only set up when absolutely necessary. Dyle set it up to give himself a break, but the automatic system is very easily noticeable from the manual one by the higher ups (early technology for such systems so not the greatest), and the day was important so Delilah got frustrated and went to talk with him. He didn't want her finding him in his twisted form so he left his floor and hid himself by the tracks, sticking to the darker areas and using his ichor to hide himself better incase they looked at the cameras. Yes the tracks have cameras, mostly by the stations though so Dyle can control when the trains depart, but some are scattered along the rest of the tracks just to make sure they are going the right ways and nothing goes wrong. He knows how to avoid them though, he knows them like the back of his hand.
At one point, he fell asleep, and began dreaming, so Astro knew where he was, and this time he could be reached, so he went to meet him formally, only to find him twisted. However he could tell it was extreme stress and Dyle was scared. He didn't understand what a twisted was at this time because this was before The Incident. Dyle woke up, Astro didn't run away. Dyle was also entirely coiled up so he didn't look as big as he actually was. His arms were both tucked in and covered by his tail, and his mouth partially hidden by his tail too, so the fangs weren't visible and he wasn't as scary looking despite his appearance and size. Astro offered him comfort and began helping him calm down. At one point Astro did ask for one of his hands, and Dyle gave it to him, giving permission to be touched. The claws caught him off guard but they were relaxed. Astro continued soothing him until he untwisted, which came as a shock to Astro cuz now he knows Dyle wasn't supposed to look like that. They talk and introduce themselves to eachother.
This is just one of many versions i've had for this au idea since i started exploring it. Also i thought this image was cute in my head. I just wish i could see it through to completion, but again, too tired rn, may revisit later and touch it up a bit.
Figured it may end this way. I am disqualifying one vote as that vote was my own. I'll post the fic as is, with some edits to make it a bit more consistent as i did change some things as i wrote it, and need to address those.

Just remember to keep in mind that this fic was originally intended for world building, so it may be messy and kinda outlandish compared to my other work. I will clarify things in notes, like character names, cuz the characters almost all have different names.
This is a world where all the skins of the characters exist as their own individuals. They all have nicknames based on the skin they are, or something similar, like the season or holiday they came to be in.
This world also implements game mechanics in, i think, a really neat way, combining some mythological elements to help explain how their world works and has changed to what we know as Dandy's World today.
Quick question for any fellow Bedtime shippers, or even anyone who's just interested.
So, i've been working on writing my little world building for my au with this ship, and it's gotten really long, ngl. As of now, it's 1 document with almost 19k words that i've been working on for over a month now, likely to be well over 20k, maybe even closer to 30k. Easily one of my longest writings so far. I didn't intend for it to get that long.
It's still written in my fanfic style, tho there are some missing details as it was originally for world building and wasn't originally meant to be posted. I have not had motivation this strong in a long while.
Now the question is...
Would you want to see it how it turns out, or want me to make a proper story out of it?

I already have plans to break it down into actual chapters and build it into a proper story, but i've also put so much work into this alone that it feels kinda criminal to keep it to myself.
Even in its current state, it's like the definition of a slow burn story, and i'm proud I've been able to pull it out this far. (Almost 19k words in and North [Astro] and Dyle still are not together yet, but the buildup is very much there)

Can't lie, i may post a fic related to my au with Dyle x Astro. I'm finally writing again after not having done so in months.
I want more content on them but that's the curse of rare pairs ;v; there isn't much out there on them. And out of the ones i did find, only about 3 of them i can read comfortably. So sometime soon, i may throw my own little one in the ring.
Based off the headcanon i talked about in my last post. Twisteds will have markings in their ichor if their toon specializes in a certain stat or stats (4 star to 5 star) and those markings will be colored after those stats. Dyle's markings are based off of the Timber Rattlesnake and i tried my best ;v; (his colors are also based on the stats i gave him. Not game accurate)
If anyone wants to drop some suggestions for twisteds to see what markings they have, you can drop it in my inbox, or the comments on here. Keep in mind that only twisteds whose toons have 4 stars to 5 stars in certain stats will have these markings. Anything 3 stars or below will not have them. So none of the starters or common event toons.
This could also help me branch out to drawing more twisteds that i'm not used to doing. I mostly have drawn Twisted Dyle, Twisted Dandy, and Twisted Astro. Also Twisted Teagan once, and Twisted Pebble a couple times
Speaking of Twisted Dandy, yes he can be suggested even tho i already drew him with his markings.
Little piece based around my experience playing Dandy's World that i randomly decided to finally include in my little au.
I've only been playing since right before the Christmas 2025 event started, but one thing stays very consistent. Twisted Teagan stalks me, i swear.
I have asked multiple people about it, and they all have said that Twisted Teagan doesn't usually spawn that often for them. But for me? She spawns so often that she may as well be a common. Pretty much every run i do, without fail, she will show up, sometimes multiple floors in a row. This honestly wouldn't annoy me nearly this much but the fact is that Twisted Teagan always seems to find me. I also am often the first person she spots, no matter what toon i am. Even as Astro when plenty of lower stealth toons are around, she seems to almost always find me first.
I know she is an uncommon so her spawns are not really that rare, but this has been an ongoing pattern since i first started. So much so that she is the twisted i hate the most. I don't even hate the commons, rares, mains, or other uncommons, but Twisted Teagan? I despise her.
So therefore, i decided to add a Stalker Teagan to my au. Just for the hell of it. She stalks North, and Dyle isn't having it.
For anyone who has seen my last post, you probably know why. If not, North (North Star Astro) is Dyle's bf in this au.
Also note: not all the Teagans that exist here are like this, there is just this one that's like this. Yes there are multiple Teagans, each one is a different one of Teagan's existing skins. This one is just a default cuz Twisted Teagan is, of course, a default.
Also here's a partially Twisted Dyle. It's a transition phase when he's twisting (phase 1). He won't always twist all the way. Once he's calmed down, he'll revert to Toon Dyle. Can be done at any phase between toon and twisted.
When he's twisting, his fangs, claws, and tail will show. His eyes will also be tinted pink like Twisted Glisten when he's not yet broken, getting redder as he gets more twisted. And he will also grow in size.
So, i've spent the last couple days drawing, so take this as a small art dump. Some pieces have explanations, which will be explained under them.
First though, Happy Valentines Day! I actually drew my favorite current Dandy's World ship for this.
A rare pair for once! Yes i really like these two. They have an AU where they're together, which, funnily enough it started as a Dandy x Astro ship, but as i did more with it, i realized Dyle was the better fit and i find them adorable. This Astro is named North btw. In this AU, like in the game, multiples of the same characters exist, but each is a different skin, and they're named based off their skin name.
Next up, some Dandy designs.
Also a new AU. I call this the New Gen Gardenview AU.
Dandy disappeared, or that's what the toons think, but what actually happened was Delilah took him in. The other toons were left behind, and Dyle was left in charge of everything. He put forward efforts to fix up Gardenview, which he was unable to do before. Make it more liveable again. Though, he also wanted to get the show back on the air. This AU also includes multiple of each character, same as the one above.
Dyle created a new Dandy, but since he didn't want this Dandy to be like the original one (og Dandy was rather dismissive, sometimes a jerk, pretended things were fine all the time, ignored a lot of pressing issues, and was very selfish) he used some of his own ichor. Just a small amount to alter this new Dandy's personality just a bit. This new Dandy is much more considerate, caring, and knows when to take things seriously, and doesn't brush stuff off. The ichor from Dyle though did also alter this new Dandy's appearance some, hence why he has the same lines that Dyle has on his face, eyeshadow instead of blush, and darker green eyes. Also altered his colors by a little.
Twisted versions!
The newer Dandy has some of Twisted Dyle's features, same reason as to why he has the altered features in toon form (Dyle's Ichor), and nothing wrapped around him like og Dandy does. Cuz he's new. This design is subject to change a bit though. One thing i really like doing is drawing the lethal twisteds. They're just so much fun to do. Og Dandy's tape film took me so long to do. I am probably not doing that again unless i have really strong motivation.
Lastly, I drew Twisted Dandy inspired from Qwel's latest short advertising the new Twisted Dandy plush, and went detailed rendering to showcase a new little headcanon i got. Also cuz Cat Dandy is now canon!
Markings! When toons specialize in certain stats (4 star to 5 star) their ichor will be colored based on that specialist stat. (Ichor is the same color, or slightly altered, but it's iridescent and bends light differently depending on stats)
Their twisted's ichor will be colored based on their toon's stats. When toons specialize in more than one stat (multiple 5 star and/or 4 star stats), their twisted will have markings in their ichor, colored after their other specialist stats.
Dandy's markings are rainbow because he has 5 stars on everything. (Dyle's wouldn't be rainbow. I also finally gave him stats to determine how his twisted is gonna look moving forward just because i have this headcanon now)
Since the markings are iridescent, they only appear in good lighting conditions. In bad lighting, they're barely visible, if at all.
When toons have 3 star stats and below, their ichor is just the normal ichor color, nothing special to them. (In my case, ichor is colored like a dark bluish purple that can appear black. When iridescent, it has that bluish purple hue that's visible in both my previous Dyle and North piece, and this Dandy)

This piece was also experimental. I messed around with the colors but i do like how it turned out. This is also my design for Twisted Dyle. Forget the chain. Chains are a literal nightmare to draw.
Dyle's my favorite already, i think he's really cool, and Twisted Dyle is also really cool looking.
Astro was also the first main i got. I started playing a couple days before the Christmas Event began. Like i said before, my gf finally got me to play it. I've got full research on everyone (except easter and halloween characters, of course), including Dyle, and Dandy, and this semi references all the times i died to Dyle while i was getting his research. At the time i was still adjusting to Astro's skill check, so i've failed a bunch of times ;v; (i am good at it now tho!)
I had a feeling i'd get obsessed if i started, which was why i avoided it for so long. I wasn't ready for a new fandom to fall into yet, but here i am, exactly as i expected. Glad i did start though. It's the only game i can actually somewhat communicate in now. (I did not, and will not do the verification.)

I wanna ramble about the fnaf 2 movie because it was so damn good! I was not disappointed by it at all!
Me and my gf watched it last night together and I was so dang giddy throughout it!
Major spoilers below so don't read past this point if you don't want spoilers and haven't seen it yet but want to!
I wanna start by saying i loved how the intro played out, with the pizzeria open and active. AND WE GOT TO SEE WHAT FIXED MANGLE LOOKED LIKE! The beginning scene with Charlie and Vanessa, i thought it was rather sweet how Vanessa tried to get Charlie to go eat with their friends. I also couldn't help but notice how Charlie looked a lot like Cassidy, but i suppose that makes sense as she's the Vengeful Spirit from what i've gathered. At least in the Cinematic Universe.
I also freaking love how they portrayed the murder scene! I know i'm mostly known for TSBS content, but i've been an avid fnaf fan since 2014! All the little references to the games just made me so dang happy! The way Charlie fell down the hole after she died, and Puppet rising from the abyss hilding her, reminded me so much of what Henry said in FFPS. "No one was there to lift you up into their arms, the way you have lifted others into yours." Not 100% sure if i remembered the quote right since it's been a long while since i watched FFPS or played it but it's close to that! The symbolism! Like Puppet going out to where Charlie lay dying in the Security Puppet Minigame! I almost went wild, but not as wild as i went on one of the scenes near the end, but i'll get to that!
And Vanessa's unresolved childhood trauma! They portrayed it really well in my opinion! I, myself also have bad childhood trauma and I still get dreams relating to it where i'm trying to run away, but i've also had ones where i've fought back! Vanessa's dream transition from adult to child, to adult again, and then to police and fought back against William, loved how smooth they were! ALSO CIRCUS BABY MADE AN APPEARANCE!!! I flipped the heck out! I bet she'll have future relevance!
I know the movies are like a hybrid of the games and the original book trilogy, and as someone who's read the trilogy, i think i know where it's going next and i am so excited for the third one!!
I can't lie though, i'm upset about a couple of the characters, specifically Charlie and Michael Afton, since in the games, they're kinda the good guys. Michael being the one trying to end his father's reign of terror, and Charlie being the one to help the spirits, but I don't think she helped the other spirits in the cinematic universe. In the games, she also wasn't nearly as directly involved as she was in the movie. I am also mad at how manipulative Charlie was, conning poor Abby into freeing her to then later possess her using Chica, her favorite, as a front to gain her trust and get close to her.
Speaking of the animatronics, I LOVE THEIR DESIGNS! The toys and the Withereds were practically spot on! Mangle was also extremely cool! Withered Freddy is my favorite out of the Withereds, though that's probably me being biased because he's my favorite Withered animatronic anyways. Most of my favorite characters in the games are the Freddys! That includes Nightmare Freddy lol
I also loved the little easter eggs, i saw the Shadow Bonnie one lol, probably gotta watch again and pay closer attention to find more. I'm also fairly sure that Michael Afton was probably in some of the pictures in Vanessa's nightmare.
I also really like that Mike Schmidt and Mike Afton were made into completely separate characters instead of Schmidt being an alias for Afton like in the games. I'm just mad that Michael Afton seems to be just like William, wanting to continue his legacy rather than end it. The less favored child trope, and that child wanting to prove themself kind of deal.
Since Circus Baby made an appearance, i'm gonna guess that Elizabeth is gonna show up in next movie, which lines up with the books. The first movie was sorta like The Silver Eyes, which i expected, the second movie definitely has aspects from The Twisted Ones, and the third one, i'm gonna guess will have The Fourth Closet stuff in it.
Speaking of The Twisted Ones, THEY ACTUALLY IMPLEMENTED MY FAVORITE SCENE FROM THE BOOK!!!! I ABSOLUTELY FREAKED OUT BECAUSE I WAS SO HAPPY!!! I WAS HOPING FOR IT, IT WAS HINTED AT! THEY DID IT AND MY NIGHT WAS MADE! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
The scene i'm talking about is when the Classic crew came in and saved Mike, Abby, and Vanessa from the toys! The Twisted Ones had a similar event happen and it's my favorite part of the book! I couldn't even muster sadness when the animatronics were dying though because i was so happy they chose to put that scene in the movie. Maybe if i rewatch it in a calmer state of mind, i may be able to, but i was way too happy to come down from that and feel sad just seconds after it happened. I honestly am very upset that the animatronics died, i love them all. Classic Crew will always be one of the best crews. They're iconic.
I also wish we got to see more of the actual Marionette than Charlie possessing people and just adding some Marionette features to them.
And William's free again! Vanny may also be a thing now since Charlie possessed her at the end. Fazbear Frights is coming! And at the very end of the credits, Henry left a message for Mike! OOOH I AM SO, SO EXCITED!!!!
People saying the movie was mid or bad, no it was not, it was so good!! I love it more than the first one!
MD Moon doodle but in the North Star Astro outfit/skin from Dandy's World because my girlfriend finally got me to start playing it lol
The way the skin looks reminded me of MD Moon so i figured why not. I also haven't drawn him in forever. I miss him and his au, but i haven't given up on it, it's just on hold.
I did not expect Sun and Moon to win this one at all. Very intriguing result, i gotta say. Not spoiling who it will be, or at least i will try not to, but yes, down the line, Darkstrike will join them as a member of the family.
