🌿Coral . . . Marine invertebrates in the class Anthoza of phylum Cnidaria. 🌻These are organisms that form compact colonies of numerous individual polyps, that are the basis of reefs in tropical oceans around the world. 🐠Coral reefs are under threat from mining, agricultural and urban runoff, pollution, blast fishing, disease, digging of canals, and not to mention the broadest threats such as sea temperature rise, sea level rise and pH changes from ocean acidification, which all comes back to human consumption to form fossil fuels. 🌏🌏This is a coral plantation that I dived whilst in #bali , with 60% of the worlds coral reefs under threat, it is up to us to help restore what has been destroyed. #justpassingthrough @gopro @reef_girls @reef_usa @reef_anz @keiko_conservation

My heart grew a thousand times bigger today. 💙As part of the Reef Redemption program, @rob_machado and I visited this Indonesian orphanage today. @reef_usa are supporting funds to give these kids a new water filtration system and replace roofing that has mould damage. 🌏These kids were so beautiful and treated each other like the most loving family I've ever met, 80 beautiful individual kids that had huge hearts. 🐟We taught 5 of them to surf, to teach them something that can keep them happy and healthy for a lifetime , and to see the smiles on their faces was incredible. @reef_girls @reef_anz #love #indonesia #givingback #reefredemption (at Jodie O'Shea Orphanage)

As someone who is so passionate about the freedom and health of cetaceans, this devastated me. I was checking out the coral plantation at Serangan, Bali this week and came across this. A "swim with the dolphins " pontoon. These pens were at the most 6x4 metres wide, and in polluted water, just floating there. The security is high around these pens, although it is illegal, Indonesian government let's these things slide. I'm not 100% sure how many dolphins they have in there. But I defiently saw 3. Feeling super happy and healthy in Bali, I'm fairly sure 80% of my diet here so far has been mangosteens and local fruit because they are so good. 🌳🍃🌼A lot of people have emailed me recently on being vegan and what products I use. 🌞In Bali all I have been using on my skin and hair is coconut oil, and zinc on my face when I'm surfing. I don't really wear any makeup, I use paw paw on my lips, and you won't find anything with chemicals in it anywhere near my body. 🐬🌿If you feed your body the right things , outer health comes from within. 🍓🍌🍍🍇🍒🌾🌴🐒🐒 #6yearsvegan #healthiswealth

You can control the demand for a certain market by being aware of what you are consuming. 🌊Shark finning is an industry that is barbaric , and unnecessary to say the least. 🐟These animals all over the world are crucial to our oceans balance all over the world. 🌏Sharks maintain balance in the food chain, and without them, these eco systems would not be able to survive. 🌊You can live without shark fin soup, but sharks cannot live without their fins. #saveoursharks @nakaweproject @keiko_conservation
