Jill is a fan favourite.

Had to come back and edit this after ruminating on it a bit.

Much like Byron I find that a single quote cannot encapsulate the character of Jill that we see as we move across the story of Final Fantasy XVI.

She is a well written, in depth character with her wide share of troubles, worries and woes. I wish we could've explored her story more in depth, explored her background more in depth and gotten to see her motherland, the Northern Territories more, but in what they did show us, I was still very much captivated by her soul and story.

Amazing character and well written. Wish the game was given more time so that we could've fully explored Valishtea and seem much more of characters like Jill's back story and tale.

Her prayer to Metia quote still stands in my soul to this day, as I know even as Clive left for the final crystal that she was still praying to Metia, for his safety.

One of my favourite characters in the game overall.

Much like Jill I feel like a single quote is not enough to convey the character or his weight to the story. His importance to others. And most of all his impact to the story.

But there is a quote of his that I am very much fond of, and it's in reference to Clive.

The Realm needs it's Sir Crandall, and there is no better Sir Crandall than you, Clive.

Byron believed in Clive and did his best to support him on his mission to save the world. And he always did it on his own two feet.

Loved the character of Byron and writing of this game.

In terms of companions, Torgal is one of the best companions to have around. I felt that the combat system was very much enhanced by being able to combo attacks with him and use him in fights in general.

Fights without him felt like something was missing, and I loved the bond between him, Clive and Jill.

The best Lad indeed. ✨

Out of all the characters in this game, Dion earned my respect greatly. He was a man of virtue, a man of honour and a man who commanded respect. All by being himself. He held himself to a greater standard and only wished to make amends for his greatest mistake.

Which was never his own.
