To whoever loves me next, I’m sorry if I’m afraid of you or if days of flirting turn to radio silence, without warning. I will probably spend more time worrying about losing you than I spend trying to keep you. Trouble is, every single time I’ve ever thought something was too good to be true– I’ve been right. Understand, I will know how to be vulnerable with you, but I won’t know how not to regret it. And I have no idea how deep we’ll be into this relationship before I admit I’ve never done this before. Not really. Not in any way that counts. Before I admit that I know how to put my body inside someone else’s but not how to make it beautiful. I probably won’t be easy to love. to the girl after me: there are a few things you need to know…his favorite drink is sprite. he likes to play his video games and talk about them, so just pretend you know what he’s talking about. maybe play with him sometimes. he’ll enjoy it so much. he’s favorite color is red. he loves to eat steak, so take him to a steak place, he loves it. he loves his mustang, sometimes he will talk about it more than you, but he’s just proud of it. pay no attention. he still loves you more. he loves kisses. anywhere, anytime. he demands them really. he loves to show you how much he loves you. he’s really soft hearted. he has a big heart for animals and his mom, but not so much his step dad. sometimes they get into it and he’ll call you crying. he’ll want to talk about it, so sit there and listen. that is important to him. but when you need to vent, he is there to listen as well. he is a great listener. he loves to cuddle too. especially while he’s playing video games. he loves to hold you while you watch him play. he will also spoil you, so appreciate everything he buys. he will buy you whatever you want. he is very proud of his hair but not so much his weight. he has always been self conscious about it, but he has lost most of it he wanted to. he looks good. praise him for losing it but tell him he’s handsome anyway. he’ll love you for you. don’t let that go like i did. i tried so hard to get it back. don’t fuck up like me. don’t let that shit happen. take advantage of the time you spend with him and then call him whenever he leaves. love him as much as he loves you. he deserves it. thank you for taking care of my boy. -the girl who realized she lost the best thing that happened to her.
