The most logical thing to do in the start of a video game was to get yourself acquainted with your surroundings.Â
Ming-hua went by this logic. As soon as they were dismissed by the AI named U.S.A.M.I., she left without approaching anyone else and headed straight to her room in the dormitories. She figured she would explore the rest of the Residency Ward after, as it was the only map - er, place, unlocked - er, available for them to explore.Â
After checking her room, she stepped out, only to bump into something else immediately after.Â
Ming-hua briefly flinched at the sudden physical contact, and quickly took a step back. She composed herself, straightening up and looking at the other student with a steady gaze. There was a moment of silence, in which she blankly stared at them.
Her tone was rather emotionless, and she appeared not to really care about the situation. At least, she didnât appear to be annoyed or angry. Her eyes were slightly unfocused, as if she were daydreaming and completely unaware of what was going on.Â
She doesnât make an effort to say anything more. If you want to talk to her, it looks like youâll have to make the first move.
Dexter had finally moved on to checking out the rest of the station available to them. His first stop would be his own room (go figure). Unfortunately he didnât have the smarts enough to grab his PDA, so he hadnât a clue which room was his (also go figure). With this issue, he decided to just start from the back and work his way down. A not so efficient plan that would be interrupted before it even started when someone had exited their room as Dexter was passing by.
The two had bumped into each other, and Dexter had whipped himself back around thinking it was a possible threat. He and the girl had locked eyes for a silent moment until she had finally responded. Dexter then figured that this was just an accident, and with that, noticed her seemingly blank stare. Oh, this ought to be easy he thought, sure heâd be able to win over yet another soon to be admirer.
âOh, no harm done. One such as I being accustomed to the bitter wilderness is more than capable of handling a mere shove.â
