Finally went out for a good freeride sesh. So i thought i’d throwback with an old shot of a great hill back home.

Sitting back in a local park by lonesome, I saw a family enjoying their freedom exploding through the air. The boy with genuine awe and excitement for each individual shattering of light. The mother smiling and admiring the joy of her son. The father pushing the boy back and forth on the swing. But they all from time to time simultaneously gasped at the exceptionally impressive ones. I had to get up and snap a quick handheld open shutter shot, despite the poor quality, this shot reminds me two things. 1.  How important family should be in my life.. 2.  To be like the boy and to never stop being small, taking time to always gasp at each firework.
