Dude I just rewatched the video where Sam and Colby handcuff themselves together- because why not- and Colby is such a younger sibling, my god. Everyone wants Domino's and he's just like, "I want Pizza Huuuuuttt," and "What about the stuffed cruuuuuusssst, I want stuffed crust," and just....this is what I mean when I say Colby younger sibling'ed his way into the main bedroom in the house.

i have this idea that i can’t shake that whenever colby gets a girlfriend he’s going to refuse to take her to haunted places just in an attempt to protect her. in my head spirits are drawn to her and colby would do anything to protect her. can you do a blurb on this?

yes this is so cute!!

growing up, you had dealt with your fair share of paranormal experiences. you could always sense an energy around but lacked the ability to tell if it was good or bad. after your grandmother had passed, you felt a presence visit you every day and something in you knew it was her. but her spirit was the only one you could discern as it brought a wave of comfort. others made you feel indifferent.

you never expected to date someone so interested in something you had some experience in. you met colby and his friend sam and when they were telling you about what they did, it fascinated you. you then told them about your abilities and experiences, the good and bad. they invited you to hang out again and when you left, sam told colby that they should bring you in for a video sometime but colby was a little apprehensive about it.

so now some months later, you and colby had gotten together and things were going great except for the fact that he wouldn’t let you go to any of the haunted places he went to. you thought it’d be fun and that you could be of some help but he wasn’t having it.

“i just don’t understand why you won’t let me go,” you muttered as you looked directly into his eyes.

“i don’t want you getting harmed. these places aren’t safe,” colby argued, trying to get you to see it how he did.

“you guys bring kat,” you countered.

“she’s sam’s girlfriend.”

“i’m your girlfriend!” you raised your voice but calmed down soon after. his reasoning just wasn’t making sense to you. “what about amber? you’ve brought her before.”

“that’s different,” he stated while his eyes were fixated on him playing with the lion ring on his finger.

“how?”

“it just is.”

“that isn’t a good enough explanation, colby. just tell me why you don’t want me to go so bad. is it because you think i’ll be an annoying scared little girl or something? when we watch scary movies, i’m the one who holds you. i’m not even scared to let my foot hang off the edge of the bed. you are. even the fans notice that you bring random ass people and not me so what’s the reason?” you laid it all out for him while his shoulders slumped and he let out a sigh.

“i do it to protect you. you do have special gifts and spirits are drawn to you. i don’t want to put you in the place where there’s a lot of them and they could attach to you or do something even worse. i don’t want you getting hurt because of me.” you could hear in his voice that he meant every word he said. he spoke passionately about it and his voice faltered at the end. you walked over to him and knelt in front of him so he’d look you in the eye.

“i love you. you know that, right?” you asked as you took his hands in yours. he nodded his head and smiled a tad. “i appreciate you protecting me and if you really don’t want me to go, i’ll stop bugging you about it but i can take care of myself. i could also help you guys but like i said, i’ll leave you alone about it if you truly don’t want me to.”

colby pulled you up to sit beside him and kept your hands together before he spoke. “how about we hold off on it for a little bit and let’s just talk about it. then we will go from there?”

“i like that. let’s try that,” you told him with a grin. he smiled down at you before pulling you into his embrace. 

“i just want to keep you safe,” he muttered into your hair as he pressed a kiss there. 

“yeah, i get it. but you know i can keep you safe too,” you reminded him as he nodded. 

“and you will one day.”

OK, I'm done with the "medium." There's something about her that I just can't put my finger on, but I'm really not enjoying her in these videos. She has to comment every five minutes on how she can see spirits, and interact with them, and yada yada. She's too over the top with it. Someone who can actually do all that doesn't need to casually and constantly remind everyone of that fact. If what's been said about the Conjuring house is true, then the Warrens, the foremost paranormal researchers of their time, were barely able to handle that shit, but sure the 20something is able to push back these "evil" forces. Also, tired of the STOP WE HAVE TO GO NOW shit.

Now. When it was just Sam and Colby in the basement, that actually seemed genuine. Is it just me or did Colby seem to be having a mini panic attack? Leg shaking, digging his nails into his arm, lips going numb. I love going to haunted places, but I'm one of those types to debunk as much as possible. That being said, I'd love to sit in the basement by myself and do an automatic writing session.

i think what people don’t understand is that the second you show fear and you let entities know you’re afraid you lose your power over them. when she says we need to leave it’s because she’s afraid and she has lost her ability to protect them from the entities in the room.

also that demon in that room threw an adult woman across a room. the boys need to be told when they are taking things too far, especially with something they don’t fully understand. she’s brought along to help keep them safe, as she says. i can’t confidently do my job and keep you guys, let alone myself safe if we stay.

she tells them if they want to go back down, she respects that because it’s their job, but they don’t know what they are messing with in these places. a

i think a lot of people who watch do it for the entertainment and because they love the boys but don’t have a full understanding of what bad things can happen when you deal with evil entities.

i truly think that if sam had heard it, it would have sounded like colbys voice. the entities clearly were singling colby out by saying his name twice, and i saw someone else say this but colbys sacred heart tattoo represents the heart of jesus. the fact that it kept saying beezlebub which is the devil, makes me think that it really hated colbys tattoo and was trying to single him out in punishment.

you and colby had gone shopping. it had been a while since you'd gone on a shopping spree, and you were itching to spoil yourself.

you had gone to all of your favorite stores, and had amassed a collection of shopping bags.

well, sort of.

yes, you had bought all of the things you wanted, but you were not the one to carry the bags.

colby had insisted on doing it, wrenching them out of your hands every time you tried to sneak one past him.

the only bag you were allowed to carry was your purse, and that was only because he'd lose it in your shopping bags and make it impossible to find when you wanted to buy something else.

so, he carried all other bags. proudly. acted like he was carrying some grand trophy through the mall.

the only downside to his insistence was that you couldn't hold his hand or link your arms with him.

but, at least you had him by your side, laughing at the corny jokes you would make.

as the two of you walked to the next door, you passed by an older couple.

the woman, she gave the two of you a gentle smile, saying, "well, aren't you two adorable!"

"thank you!" you said, grinning.

her husband smiled too, saying to colby, "looks like she's got you well trained."

"no training required," colby said. "she's got me in the palm of her hand and she knows it."

you smacked his shoulder, but laughed. though he joked, you knew you were the same way with him.

cause if soulmates were real, you knew colby was yours.

So, I finally watched that Faze x SNC collab, and I feel really bad for them that his fans ruined it before they could get going. It sucks because they actually seemed to have the support/permission of the hotel staff before all of that, and thats rare for youtubers.

Also- yes, they mixed up Harry Houdini and Charlie Chaplin. You love to see it. 🤣

I'm excited to see whether they can pull off the Presidential Suite at the Biltmore without issues- from fans, ghosts, or former friends.

those girls (and kat and stas of course) in snc’s new video were SO nice and cool! it’s so refreshing to see people so kind and who matched the vibe of their group so well! if that was me i would’ve been a wreck with nerves so it really shows how chill sam, colby, kat and stas must be to be around 🥰🥰🥰

Summary : Ethan confronts y/n after she broke up with his brother

warnings : angst, heavy mentions of infertility, curse words

Y/n was startled awake by a loud pounding at her door. She glanced up at her clock, 3:52 AM. She definitely wasn’t expecting anyone at this hour. Trying her best to keep the nerves away, she walked towards the door. She eyed the door’s peephole and her stomach dropped. Ethan.

Y/n opened the door and looked up at him.

“Ethan...what are you doing here?”

Ethan glanced behind her at the state of her house. An empty wine bottle sat atop her table. Dirty dishes were stacked high in her kitchen. Crumpled tissues were scattered on her sofa. He looked up at her and was met with her red, puffy eyes. All of this further confirmed Ethan’s suspicions. Y/n was hurting just as much as his brother.

“Can I come in?” Y/n stepped aside to let him in, all the while avoiding eye contact.

“Sorry, my house is a bit of a mess right now.” Ethan could tell how nervous y/n was when she started playing with her hands, her signature nervous tick. He cleared his throat, “Y/n...what happened?”

Y/n had the idea to play dumb, but her teary eyes betrayed her. She covered her face with her hands as tears streamed down her face. “My life is ruined, E,” her body shook with sobs. “I fucked up.” Ethan quickly moved towards her and embraced his best friend in a hug.

“Hey, it’s gonna be okay. You hear me? I just need to know what happened.”

“I-I can’t.”

“Y/n please...let me help you.”

After a long pause, y/n choked out, “I can’t have kids.”

Ethan felt like he just got punched in the gut. He now knew exactly what had happened. Everyone knew how much Grayson wanted kids. He knew it. Y/n knew it. Hell, the entire internet knew it. He couldn’t imagine how gutted y/n was to find out she couldn’t give him the one thing he wanted most in this world. Ethan’s eyes softened and he looked at her with pity. “Y/n...I’m so, so sorry,” he rubbed her back as fresh tears made their way down her face. “But why didn’t you tell Grayson?” his voice was delicate.

Y/n shook her head. “No, E. I can’t do that to him.”

“You know he wouldn’t care. You know he loves you more than anything!”

“Don’t you think I know that?!” she raised her voice as she abruptly stood. “I can’t do that to him. I can’t take that away from him,” she rubbed her tears away, looking determined. “Grayson is...such a good guy. He is going to be a great dad. It hurts so much that I can’t give that to him. It hurts so fucking bad. I feel like I’ve failed him.”

Ethan moved to hold her hands firmly. “Never ever say that again. This isn’t your fault, okay?”

They sat back down on the sofa, hand in hand. The silence between them was somber, occasionally broken by y/n sniffles. After a few minutes, y/n mumbled, “I know you think I’m selfish for doing this. Maybe I am. But...you’re right. Grayson would give up having kids for me. But what happens when in a few years he changes his mind? what happens when he has to watch the people around him have kids? He’ll regret it, and I just- I just can’t deal with that guilt.”

Ethan took a deep breath and attempted to compose his thoughts before responding, “You’re wrong. There are other options, y/n. Grayson might be sad to not have biological kids, but he’s broken without you,” he grimaced before continuing, “Y/n...I’m sorry, but I’m gonna have to tell him.”

Y/n looked at him in betrayal, her heart sinking. “Ethan, don’t do this. Please-“

“He’s my twin, y/n. I can’t hide something like this from him.”

Although y/n said nothing, her face dripped with anxiety. Ethan hated to betray her trust after she had opened up to him like that, but Grayson deserved to know. With a pained expression, Ethan stammered, “You know I love you. So fucking much. But Grayson deserves to know the truth. And between you and him, I-“

“You’d pick him.” Y/n didn’t know why she was so hurt. Of course he’d pick his twin. She just thought that their friendship meant more to him. She thought she could trust him.

Ethan sighed, “God, I feel like such an asshole. I’m so sorry,” he felt hot tears down his cheeks and wondered when he’d started crying.

Y/n let out a humorless, dry laugh in response.

“It would be better for him to hear it from you. I’ll give you a week to tell him yourself.”

“Please, just- just leave me

alone.”

Ethan stared at his best friend. The girl who used to brighten up a room with her cheerful attitude and warm presence. Now, she was almost unrecognizable. Ethan hated himself at that moment. He opened the door and exited her house without looking back.
