Peter & Olivia || Parallel #1 

Handholding

For Peter and Olivia, handholding goes far beyond a simple expression of friendship, intimacy or love. We saw first episodically in Bad Dreams, and first chronologically in Subject 13 that Peter taking ahold of Olivia’s hand goes far beyond a simple physical touch — he calms her down in a way that no one else can. As we know, Olivia’s powers seem to be uniquely tuned to work most effectively in Peter’s presence,  and their handholding has helped to both symbolically and literally present the two of them as strongest when linked together.
