We got AMAZING bookshelves! My boyfriend had these custom made for our flat, and we’re so so happy with them - it feels like we have Foyles in our home!
I will update with more photos, we’ve filled them up now and they look sooo great!

An Udo update! This was this morning, I’ve now separated for the body and sleeves and am knitting on the body!
I cast on my Udo sweater by Orlane Sucche yesterday afternoon! I knitted it all evening and have worked on it for a few hours this afternoon too - I love it!
The reddish brown will be my main colour once the chart is finished, and it has elbow length sleeves, it’s going to be so nice to wear with jeans (my standard outfit is a hand knit jumper or cardigan and wide leg jeans/trousers!)
I have no photos but have re-read the whole of the His Dark Materials trilogy through this pandemic - I’ve found it so comforting.
I think I’m going to start on The Book of Dust too!
Various sewing projects - I’ve made 4 tops and 1 pair of trousers so far in quarantine. I also cut out 1 more top and I think 2 dresses, but haven’t sewed them up yet. I lost a bit of sewing mojo 🤷🏻♀️ and got more into knitting again.
The trousers are Persephone Pants by Anna Allen, and the tops are variations on the Trapeze by Merchant and Mills and the All Well Box Top
Have been inspired to draw a bit by people on IG - mine is on the far left. Inspiring people have been emilybesser and grace.rother
My Bloem cardigan - slow progress but it will be a gem once I finish it
A quick vest I made! I used the Vest No.1 pattern from My Favourite Things Knitwear, and used Retrosaria Brusca held with Retrosaria Mungo.
And here I’m working on a quilt!!
In progress photos of my Decq cardigan
A kind of improv cardigan - cobbling it together from a sweater pattern and my head, using mohair scraps from my stash and leftover undyed wool
A finished Decq cardigan! I preview knitted this for Brooklyn Tweed’s Wool People 14 collection. A big labour of love but so so very worth it!
A Stephen West shawl in the making - I’m using De Rerum Natura Ulysse for the main colour and various 4ply scraps for the ‘bricks’ - the pattern is called Painting Bricks shawl!
My own version of my pattern Aloft from Pom Pom Quarterly issue 32!
Ninok sweater by Orlane Sucche in progress - i’m now about half way done on the first sleeve. I LOVE this pattern, it certainly won’t be the only version i make of this!
Special delivery from Tangled Yarn! They have Pegulhal on sale and I’ve always wanted to try it so got enough for an Udo Sweater by Orlane Sucche. Will use the gold colour in the 3rd photo for the 3rd contrast colour!
Also - Kraken by China Miéville is reminding me of a cross between the Rivers of London series, Jeff Vandermeer (Finch and City of Saints and Madmen) and also American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It’s good but more weird than I was expecting!
I found this vintage French blouse at a car boot sale this weekend (for next to no money) and I’m obsessed with it.
I know very little about dating garments/specific eras of clothing but I have a feeling this blouse is around 80 years old. It’s been sewn completely by hand with teeny tiny stitches.
A pretty amazing spot to knit some of my #azorsweater #testknit with an Aperol spritz 🌊🍷✨ wearing my #allwellboxtop dress hack, perfect for the hot weather! . . . #knitting #knittersofinstagram #tetebeche #tetebecheknitwear #placesyoucanknit #italy #italianriviera #amalficoast #handmadewardrobe #imakemyclothes #slowfashion #holidayknitting (at Nerano, Campania, Italy) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1tuAkzph8o/?igshid=qxv484ucwld9
