The only thing that seems to truly matter is finding the most elusive criminal Piltover has ever known as a way to atone, a way to make amends. But the months go by, Jinx stays missing, and life has to carry on. Perhaps, sometimes, redemption is where you least expect it to be. Perhaps, sometimes, salvation is just an abandoned summer house by the sea, filled with forgotten memories and new beginnings.

Soooo.. I did this thing.

The idea for this story came to me when I was on my way to motherhood, before season 2 even came out.

I pitched the plot to my infant daughter during saturday morning walks, and wrote most of it to the sound of waves coming from her night lamp. I hope this story doesn't help you fall asleep like it did for her.

Instead, I hope it moves something inside you, just like it did for me.
