I found a picture this morning that I had forgotten about. I went to shred it and the shredder was stuck. 

I'm stubborn though and so is my heart. I fixed the shredder and slipped in the picture. 

My heart didn't fit but that's okay. For it does not need to be destroyed but cared for and nurtured. I need not to punish it for the decisions that I made. I need not to torture it with tools not made for it. I need not to reprimand it for growing pains.

My heart is slowly finding a new place. It is making itself at home in the very concave it was born in. It is making itself comfortable and remembering the beauty in love, happiness and forgiveness.
