Okay with the eight of wands popping out in the block position, I can already see what’s going on here. You move fast when you feel something, maybe faster than you realize. It’s like once you see the potential, you want to fast forward to the HEA. But when things move too quickly, the connection doesn’t have time to grow the way it’s meant to. Spirit keeps showing me that you need to slow down, and let things happen naturally without pressure or rushing.
This comes from an inner imbalance, you tend to go to extremes. You’re either all in or completely out. With you, it often feels like, “This better become something real or what’s the point?” And while that comes from wanting something meaningful, it puts a lot of weight on things before they’re ready. There’s also this pattern of focusing on what’s missing more than what’s already there. It’s not that you’re ungrateful, not at all, it’s just that you’re scared of wasting your time and that’s understandable, no one wants to waste their time, but when you look too far ahead you can miss what’s right in front of you.
And I just want to say this because I don’t ever want you to feel judged, I’ve done this too. A lot of us have. Wanting something real isn’t a wrong, it’s just something that needs gentler pacing.
Your lesson right now is patience, let yourself actually enjoy the moment you’re in. You have so much to offer, even if you don’t see it, but when you rush things, the other person doesn’t get the chance to discover you slowly and fall in love piece by piece. Not everyone opens up the way you do. Not everyone moves at your speed. And that’s okay.
There’s also a message about fairness coming through. You may feel like love has been unfair to you, but Spirit is asking you to take a moment and look at things from the other person’s perspective in order to understand how your pace, your expectations, or your need for answers might feel overwhelming to someone still getting to know you. Here’s where the block is, you feel like what’s the point, you put in the work but it doesn’t seem to pan out for you. It’s like at this point you’ve given up putting 100 percent in the relationship because you feel it’s often not reciprocated the same way.
This is coming from an idealization of the “knight in shining armor” you may be expecting or even on a subconscious level want this person who is going to come in and fight for your love. You want someone to fight for you. It’s almost like if you have an argument and tell this person you’re gonna leave, you want them to say no, stay. This isn’t wrong in itself, this is just you wanting to know this person loves you enough. It doesn’t make you a bad person, but it may not be a realistic expectation and one that most won’t know how to meet and when they don’t respond the way you hoped, the Magician reversed comes in, and that’s where the self sabotage happens, it’s not intentional. Stop fighting, stop getting in your own way. Despite the song, love doesn’t need to be a battlefield. When you stop seeing love as a fight for the upper hand, you’ll invite in some good energy, I see someone with integrity, honesty, a no games, no bullshit type of person for you.

Alright, let’s see what the cards say. The main issue is you give up easily. You’re quick to walk away. The problem with this is that you may be harsh on those who don’t deserve it. Sure there may have been some that did but overall, you may be cutting things short due to misunderstandings. This seems to be coming from holding people to high expectations.
I’m sensing energy that can come off as "my way or the highway". It’s that you have a certain set of rules or a code and you measure partners by it. You expect a certain level of loyalty and when someone falls short of meeting that, you see it as dishonesty and disloyalty and you’re out. That doesn’t make you a terrible person, you expect that level of loyalty and devotion because that’s what you offer, what you deliver, so you hold other people to this level as well.
The lesson here for you is not to let every little violation of your rules break what could be something good, the truth is that not everyone is on that same level as you, not everyone knows how to meet that. It doesn’t mean they’re not good loyal people. Spirit is saying stop focusing in on the perceived slights and see what is actually there.
If you can learn to be less “harsh” when someone makes a small mistake you’ll invite into your life this energy and confidence to just trust the process, no need for strict structure in relationships, that’s when you’ll open yourself to a more fulfilling love.

Why the hate? A Tarot Reading on Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl
Taylor Swift’s new album has received a lot of mixed reviews. Some people love it while many dislike it, some even hate it, claiming it’s her worst album. I want to be transparent and say I am a fan of her music and her career but I do not consider myself a “Swiftie.” I am a fan of her work, I’m not a fan not necessarily of her. That doesn’t mean I dislike her, I actually do like her but I prefer to separate the artist from the art. So I don’t let gossip of her personal life or feuds or who she’s dating or who she’s friends with influence how I experience her music. Whether she’s a good person or a bad person, that’s not for me to judge nor should it be the basis on which we critique her art.
Another thing I’d like to make clear is that on first listen of The Life of a Showgirl, I didn’t like it. I liked the chorus for Elizabeth Taylor but that was about it. But I fell in love with the album on the second listen. Now I understand that it’s not for everyone but I was surprised at how much criticism this album is receiving. It reminds me of Reputation, was it was trashed on when it first came out and now years later everyone loves it.
So I wanted to see why this album is receiving hate, Is it genuine dislike? Or is it does Taylor’s massive platform make her an easy target? Is this another Reputation moment, where time will reveal what the rest already see?
In this reading I’m going to take a look at the public energy, how the collective is reacting on the surface. The hidden motivation behind the hate, what’s really driving the criticism? Taylor’s energy, what energy did she put in this album? How it compares to Reputation, what’s repeating, what’s evolving. Future reception, how the album’s legacy will mature over time.
For this reading I thought it only appropriate to use my Taylor tarot deck. I’ll be using a combination of the standard Rider-Waite meanings, the quotes in this deck and my own intuition. To me these cards are showing people love it. I not seeing any hate to negative criticism in these cards, which leads me to believe that despite the amount of negativity, as a whole, more people love the album more than hate it. Or some people may be saying they hate it just because a few others are and they’re jumping on the let’s hate Taylor Swift bandwagon because the ten of swords reversed is about recovery, renewal, many people didn’t like TTPD because they thought it was too “wordy”, too “long”, “all over the place.” So this album to those that didn’t like TTPD feels like a renewal.
The six of wands is public victory, applause, recognition. “We’ve been on a winning streak” even with loud criticism, the overall vibration is success. The album is being discussed everywhere, that’s visibility, which in itself is a triumph. The quote enforces she’s still dominating the conversation no matter the polarity of opinions.
The Empress shows that this project came from a deeply creative, feminine, and intuitive place. She’s birthing a new era rather. The hate might actually be discomfort with her expansion.
Overall, the collective is split but leaning positive, with negative voices amplified because of the “Taylor-hate industrial complex”

It’s less to do with her music and more to do with their personal feelings and/or opinions of her. Ace of Pentacles reversed is about envy of someone else abundance. It’s like people know she’s in her golden era and that triggers them. Instead of celebrating her evolution, they frame it as “over exposure,” “decline,” or “she’s too rich, too everywhere.” But it also indicates that external forces, media, industry, competitors, even political figures amplifying the hate. The Ace hints at power structures trying to destabilize her success because her voice reaches millions, and that kind of influence especially when used for activism or truth telling can’t be controlled.

Queen of Cups, pure emotional intelligence and self reflection. Taylor poured heart and awareness into this album. She’s observing herself as both artist and brand and owning that duality. It’s not vanity, it’s vulnerability through a self awareness lens.
She’s healed, inspired and unafraid to show joy and happiness and that upsets people who romanticize her suffering.

The sweetness is still there, but it’s grounded in reality rather than fantasy.
Four of Pentacles Reversed, this screams letting go of control and perfectionism. During Reputation, she was guarding her empire tightly, protecting her image and art. Now, she’s learning to release, she’s generous with her energy again, open to risk, willing to be misunderstood if it means staying true. Reversed, this card is freedom from clinging to material or reputational safety.
