It's so wonderful seeing someone who understands the heart that David has. I knew from the moment I saw the scene in the movie where Michael says "never" to the offer that David was heartbroken. He was offering Michael a gift. Something meant for people he cared about. Even after Michael helped destroy his family, David still wanted to love him in his own, twisted way.

Ali did a beautiful job expanding on this. I am so proud of him and all that he's done. He truly understands this character and has done our fandom justice 💜
